I love Jesse for a boy & it was going to be my son’s name but the reaction I got from 99% of people was it was horrible & he would get bullied so I changed it 😕
Best advice I ever received: don't tell anyone the name you've picked out (not even your mums or midwife), until you've registered the birth. That way nobody can put their two cents in, and nobody will dare say anything once the child is born and legally named.

There's this bizarre phenomenon that people treat pregnant women like public property: they randomly touch your belly, they give you unsolicited advice on child rearing, or they try to name your child for you. It's crazy.

I never enjoyed the pregnancy part of motherhood because of that. If we ever have another one I'm keeping the pregnancy to myself, if anyone asks I'll throw it back at them: "I'm not pregnant I'm fat, asshole!" 😂

I really love Aurora, but my mum would never forgive me if I chose it...too extra for her I think!
I like really classic names mostly (Lily, Rose, etc) but I am liking the trend of James for a girl...

I couldn't see one of these so thought I'd make it off the back of the name hating one.

I like the name Maisie.

And Gary.

I'm totally extra when it comes to naming my children. My husband however is more sensible and tones it down. So my children have unusual but sensible names.

But if left to my own devices I'd have had a Felix, a Tiger and a Martha 😂😂😂😂

If I had another child (unlikely as we are only just getting somewhere with paying off my last 3 IVF rounds😂) I would want a Margot or a Samson

Love the classical ones that have survived the centuries and don't seem dated.

Boys: Ezra, Eli, Julian (with Jude for short), Finn, Levi, Seth, Oliver, Tristan, Jett, Jonas

Girls: Phoebe, Violet, Amber, Ruby, Lily, Eleanor, Darcy, Imogen, Paige, Erin, Olivia, Jasmine, Harper,

This one is out there and I don't think I'd call my child it purely cos it would raise eyebrows and be hard for people to spell, but it's Ariadne (Ari-AD-nay)
I always wanted an Ariadne. It’s just such a beautiful name.
