So I got acrylics done a couple of weeks ago by a person I’d never been to before (her work looked amazing on Instagram and that’s what made me sway from my usual place plus I could get in quicker).
I had a full set done but after a few days one of them pinged off which has happened before and it’s generally sore for a few days and then heals, but this time it was was really sore for about a week and then I noticed my cuticle looked very dark green and black as well as about 1/4 of my nail bed. I thought maybe it would just grow out after a while and it is starting to fade slightly over time but I now have a hole in my nail bed and I’m not sure wether it will heal at all or what to do as I really don’t want to waste my doctors time over some so trivial as it isn’t causing me pain but I find it looks really embarrassing.
Have any nail techs had experience of this or can give some advice on how I can make sure it grows back healthy or if it will at all?
