I rarely get my nails done and when I do I can never decide what I want. What are your favourite designs 😄

I trawl instagram. Search hash tags with things like #pinknails or whatever you want or #nail art #springnails etc. And from there I find loooads of pages to look through for inspirations

Can anyone recommend a nail varnish that is long lasting, don’t want gels done as my normal nail lady is away so I want something to go on with. Just a high st brand that is good..I’ve tried Barry M and it chipped straight away!! 😂

Essie and OPI are my favourites. Essence is also quite good if you’re on a budget.

In my opinion, the best high street nail varnishes are: OPI & Essie.
Best top coat is Sally Hansen Miracle gel.

I 100% agree that both OPI & Essie are great nail polishes.
Seche Vite is also a great quick drying top coat, although it does go a bit funny near end of bottle.

What are your favorite nail colors?

5th Avenue from Essie is my go to red.

I go through so many different phases with nails 🙈

For a striking red I like - 'Big Apple Red' by OPI or Geranium by Essie

For the perfect pinky beigey nude: 'Do you Take Lei Away' by OPI or 'Ballet Slippers' by Essie (the Queen used to wear this shade!)

Glossy black: 'Licorice' by Essie

Holiday nails - 'Mint Candy Apple' by Essie or 'Bikini so Teeny' (Light blues and mint greens look great with a tan)

Winter nails - I like 'Malaga Wine' or 'Lincoln Park after Dark' by OPI

I love Funny Bunny by OPI, such a beautiful milky white. For autumn I like Stay Off the Lawn and Lincoln Park After Dark. Ballet Slippers by Essie and Base Coat Abricot by Dior are perfect for a “your nails but better” look.

Ok don't hate me but Ballet Slippers just doesn't work for me, it's like sheer and streaky. Not sure if I just got a bad one but it such a let down.
Go Go Geisha however is my fav nude. It's opaque and creamy, matches my skin tone well too.

I have a couple of Essie ones and they always chip but my Barry M ones almost never do but then I do change my nails so much because I'm always picking my skin due to anxiety so It end up coming off prematurely, haha.
