I am a teacher and I spend sooooooooo much time at the moment uploading meaningful work and then spending time online marking, worrying about kids welfare, if I am doing my job properly and schooling my own daughter - it’s a total insult to the girls’ teacher that she is choosing that route AND advertising it - she has feck all to do all day! Ooh she has really boiled my piss today!!!

Gosh us bastards are all quite intelligent really! Dentists, teachers, nurses etc! Anyone would think we are not a bunch of idiotic bastard trolls but are in fact quite an intelligent bunch who see through bullshit & don’t like when things are unjust or influencers are pulling the wool over people’s eyes in the most awful of times. Just saw that another Aberdeenshire instagrammer was gifted a heap of seafood - whilst correctly labelling and showing everyone, she then went on to make a cash donation to the local food bank & commented how lovely to be lucky to receive such gifts it’s important to remember those less fortunate! This is a completely different parallel to what Beggy would ever do!

After many vague messages back and forth I have received clarification that she is, indeed, in paid partnership with Sweaty Betty.
I am so disappointed. How can they sell T-shirts with “women supporting women” blazened across the front, yet think that using Rebecca Meldrum is appropriate? A woman who doxxes other women and think that a racist remark can be swept under the carpet?
I choose where my hard earned money goes. I choose ethical businesses. I will not be lining the pockets of companies who knowingly pay money to people like her.
My own company newsletter is going out at the weekend to over 1k subscribers who know me, trust me and have worked personally with me. They know how much I love SB - I bloody live in their clothes! I will be sure to highlight what such companies stand for and why I will no longer be buying from them.

As per tattle rules I realise I am not allowed to discuss other influencers that are critical of the meldrums.
However Lee is back up to his old tricks trying to intimidate women.
He has a new account I suggest everyone block.
The influencer has no interest in using the meldrums to boost her following just wants warn people.
I do not know!! I messaged the company this morning to say I was disappointed and as someone who actually home educates their children full time it puts me off using their site. I also had Lee be very weird to me yesterday! I am blocked by Mrs M but have blocked all her other accounts, the dog, Lee etc. Yesterday an account that was about drone videos followed me and left a comment on one of my pics ‘Love it!
Lee’ I was confused so went and looked at the account and it’s clearly Lee Meldrum! Don’t know if he’s trying to intimidate me but that’s just very weird. Blocked him on that account. I notice he didn’t comment or follow my husband, just me! Nice to know he spends his downtime on the rigs doing that!

Received this today from another Tropics Ambassador who is quietly working away with her business that she has had for years and makes a little extra money from to fund her days out for her kiddies.... then bam!! Another "influencer" comes along and makes a killing in just over a bloody month = of course our Beggy!

No it’s not hard to to label an ad an ad. She doesn’t care. She’s a narcissist.
As for companies, they pay a fee to Whalar to give them value for money and save them time. They don’t want to deal with people complaining and dealing with a backlash as they have paid for a service to avoid all of this.
Tbf it’s Whalar who are the numpties here. Companies aren’t going to spend their precious time scouring the internet checking influencers.
However I do believe SB have their own in-house marketing team who will actively source influencers who fit their brand. What has angered me is I have (and others I believe) pointed out what Rebecca has done and proceeds to do. Not only was it like getting blood out of a stone to get a straight answer (4 emails, 3 messages on social media) but if they proceed to continue their working relationship with her, they are knowingly supporting someone who goes against their whole “Betty” ethos. And that, in my eyes, is worse than anything.
But I am yet to get clarification if they do, actually agree if doxxing women who are voicing their educated opinions, locking their toddlers in their bedrooms or failing to label collaborations correctly, therefore breaking ASA rules. If they continue their working relationship with her or fail to reply to my last email, I will take it that they do.
Next time I will also flag up Lee sliding into said women’s inboxes in an intimidating manner.
I’m fed up of this shit. Like I said before, it’s 2020 and voicing opinions is not illegal. I followed Mrs Meldrum about two years ago got a while then unfollowed (around the time Lee decided to quit his job). ive just come across this thread and my mind is blown at just how much things seem to have gone downhill for this family.
initially, I unfollowed because Mrs M is a “mummy influencer” and as someone who doesn’t have kids, her content didn’t really speak to me (I just liked some of her outfits).
the trouble with putting your whole life online is thatpeople can deduce quite a lot; maybe even seeing things you’d rather not face yourself.
I recall her and Lee had been together from very young. My impression of those two is that it isn’t a good love match; there’s no passion or intimacy there that I can see. I get the impression that Mrs M is a bit of a lost soul without much confidence.
Lee is easy going, let’s her get away with anything andis a bit of a pushover. He was a safe bet for her, so she settled into a comfortable relationship/lifestyle with him.
she’s never worked at forging an identity or sense of herself through being single or having a career. She probably had her lovely children out of a sense of, that was what supposed to happen next, and for a sense of purpose.
The issue with sticking to a comfortable life out of safety and fear is that you never get fulfilment, contentment or event grow as a person. For those who say she’s like a teenager; she is. She’s cocooned herself so she’s never had any real hardship or character tree r building and so no person growth.
another outcome is the resentment we see from her towards lee and the girls. She probably can’t quite put a finger on it, but she is clearly a very lost and frustrated person. The angry teenager that never got a chance to grow.as a result she acts out towards her kids and husband. In all likelihood she needed aperiod to get to know herself instead of losing herself to becoming a mum and wife.
it’s sad viewing in my opinion. She’s only a year or so older than me, but she seems like a lost soul. Mrs Meldrum needs to find a purpose in life and gain a sense of herself - but it’s hard to do that when you’ve got three young children who need you.
my two cents is that Mrs Meldrum is someone to feel sorry for and wish the best for; despite the perfect life she curated online I think it probably masks a lot of unhappiness and confusion, of someone who is very misguided and is wasting their potential.

Rebeggar m8. I've been stuck in my house and garden for 8 weeks now due to shielding. My kids have not left our property for the same length of time. Neither has my mum who lives with us just now. She hasn't seen my dad for the whole 8 weeks as it is too high a risk for me to introduce new people into our household. My husband leaves the house a couple times a week for shopping. When he comes home he basically has to disinfect himself. He doesn't come near me. We haven't slept in the same bed for 8 weeks. We haven't cuddled. It is for my protection because I am too high a risk. Now tell me how hard you've had it luv.

I won't name the accounts incase it annoys the powers that be but both accounts have less followers than Beggy. One has managed to raise almost £1k for the same charity The Meldrums managed less than £40 for, and one just made a £50 donation to a food bank because they received a large seafood hamper as a gift (which they also labelled correctly!).
Just goes to show how ignorant, lazy and spoiled she is.

makes my 33 years in th NHS seeem quite insignificant ....as a band 6 specialist nurse I could only hope to earn £37000 annually full time .....truly fucked up world we live in
