So we have stories of the alpaca eating hay but it's May, the time of maximum grass growth and they should be eating lovely lush spring grass .... but without enough land for 3 alpaca nor any understanding of rotation of fields, allowing some grass to be left un-grazed for a while so it can grow all her grass is completely overgrazed and they are having to eat hay all year round. Oops sorry, I wandered into Farming Today there but it shows a woeful ignorance of animal management.

She hasn't enough fields to do crop rotation (Young ones, reference ) and the b astro turf never seems to grow lovely green shoots, it's baffling . Hope that helps, hunnnaeeeee
