Why does she consistently miss the mark with all her "status symbols". She wanted "this life" so got a house not remotely like the country/farm asthetic she says and tries to make it that but just keeps failing miserably

Bespoke furniture?... no, splintered scaffolds and apple crates.
Panelling and exposed brick?... no, non waterproof mdf and a bleeping resin drive.
Pantry?... no, weird corner display unit.
Log burner?... no, tit burner in a stupid position in the worst room for it.

Nothing like huddling together in one corner of mushroom mansion to enjoy the heat of one log while rod, tod and mod stare at you through the windows. bleeping melt.

A couple of things…

A) I used to follow her in the early days and I never heard her mention a log burner. The first she mentioned one was in the dolls house and then when she went away at Christmas

B) imagine if one of your life long dreams was to have a log burner Sad sad bastard.

Urgh, how she is placing the wood - no doubt bought in and will never be used it's for 'display' or will burn kindling only. We have a multistove, but it was the only thing we saved from our 70s bungalow and we have a good wood supply as we live in the country and have a small wood! Let me tell you, we don't stack wood like that. It's all tend just like the mud/boot room which anyone living in a rural place will know is always dirty and doesn't have scented candles!
