So I've been hovering here for a while and I was a bit worried about posting, being a lower class, housing association tenant, (?) but I'm hoping you'll all look past that. The time has now come where my exasperation with Mrs Hinch has reached a new level and I needed to just have a bit of a rant.

I started following her out of general curiosity after seeing my feed filling up with #ATB, #HinchArmy, #HinchHaul #ImAHincher #Narnia and so on and so on. My first impressions were of a good personality and great song choices and it gave me a bit of a giggle. However, I was also instantly shocked by the number of different products she uses and the volume of each product used! I also couldn't get over her not wearing gloves (I am a complete weirdo and have real issues with certain textures - the thought of holding a microfibre cloth is my bare hands brings me out in goosebumps) and having no ventilation whatsoever. Buttt...hey ho...each to their own. Maybe I was being a bit pedantic.

Then I learnt what a 'Narnia' was....first thoughts - stupid, selfish, greedy, wasteful and ultimately harmful to our environment (and health)
Then a 'Hinch Haul'...stupid, reckless (knowing people will copy, even if it means getting into debt , unnecessary, ridiculous and again, ultimately harmful to our environment).
Then an 'Ebayers'....tat, more unnesessary spending, adding to clutter and mostly from China which has to be shipped, which is also harmful to our environment and thats without all the plastic it comes wrapped in.

I'm not going to go into it in a big way and I am certainly not after a pity party but I suffer very badly with my mental Health. I have suffered with it for more than half my life and it is very complex and long winded. It is largely managed but I do experience very low/dark episodes. Over the last year, I have managed to identify that "Influencers" on social media are a real trigger and have a negative effect on my MH.
I am so happy I have been able to identify this as a trigger, or I, for sure, would have been reeled in by Sophie. I still watch her (I don't know why - maybe FOMO) and can feel that trigger creeping up on me. It's seeing someone's seemingly perfect life - happily married, own house, big lavish wedding, perfect pooch (even if he does always look so sad), luxury honeymoon, baby on the way, spotless home, close family, funny, pretty, materialistic goods and not even having to go to work to have all these things (it was only on here that I learnt she is actually a hairdresser, so does work - but it would be nice if she made that clearer). It makes (people like me) envious. I get to the point, that I was even envious that she has the space to store her endless 'Narnias'. I have one shelf under my kitchen sink for cleaning products (products that cover the whole house, not just kitchen). I don't even have storage to put my hoover and ironing board away- so straight away my house is never going to look as clean and tidy as hers because I always have them visible as a bloody eyesore.
I used to have an extreme problem with spending, which was a manifestation of my unhappiness and a side effect of my MH. I would spend to feel good, but that feeling is only a moment before it gets smothered with the worry and fear of debt and self loathing at having 'done it again' I would always find an excuse though, and 'Hinching' would have been a perfect excuse. I would be buying all these things because I actually 'needed' them. They were for a positive - cleaning, which would be a good way to channel my anxiety. The 'narnia' would mean I was well stocked while also giving me that 'high.' As for that stuffed Elephant...well I definitely need that....just in case I go on to have another child. Ohhh and those fridge liners will be great...for my already spotless fridge that I've managed to keep clean for all these years without lining them ?
Luckily, I have not fallen into the money pit, that is Sophie Hinchliffe a.k.a Mrs Hinch. 5 years on and after hours upon hours of therapy and councelling, I have managed to curb the spending aspect of my illness. However, I would bet money (not that I have much) that A LOT of Mrs Hinch's followers will be like me. People who have some kind of mental health problems, who need validating, even if by a complete stranger who only wants to make money out of you, who gives you an excuse to spend money you don't have, who makes you feel needed - like you are a personal friend.

It is nothing but fraud and it is turning into a cult.

Anyway I have ranted and rambled enough. So sorry for the essay - I am not good at condensing my (many) thoughts into shorter paragraphs. I actually had even more, i wanted to say. Maybe I could write a book....??

I have a few questions in regards to #AD and #Affiliate that I would love to ask any of you who are far more knowledgeable that me.

Oh FFS. Just seen in a Hinch group that a woman had a birthday cake made for her - decorated with fondant Zoflora, sponges and mops.

If it was my birthday and all my family could pick out about my personality was that I liked Zoflora I think I'd cry, not post it proudly all over FB.

Anyone else starting to wonder if there’s a body under the floorboards at chez Hinch? Why else would you be so fanatical about spraying around copious amounts heavily scented shit but to cover up the smell of a rotting corpse.

‘Concerned’ none of you lot are concerned you’ve just got nothing else to do
Excuse me, missus. Don't speak for me.

I was VERY concerned for her! I started watching her when she was still low followers and she began to complain about her health. She was getting constant flu's, colds and other maladies. She was using the same stuff that did it to me. So I spent over an hour writing to her with information I've received from Specialists I paid a fortune too. Advice about cleaning products and their relation to health and linked her to the studies. I told her how it had affected me and the ways the specialists advised I changed it and everything had cleared up. These people have seen thousands of people and healed all kinds of things, so they know what they are talking about! I included extra information about vits and mins, inc iodine, which really helps boost the immune system, she would greatly benefit from that one act alone, as her immune system is weakened / low and that's why she's almost constantly sick. I sent her lots of love and hugs and even ended with 2 kisses. This is stuff I usually share with family or friends, not some unknown random. Most people wouldn't bother, but I was concerned. Building our immune systems is vital. And many of these chemicals deplete immune systems.

Guess what? She blocked me. And then she had 2 hospital visits, one major operation, and once for dehydration and vitamin and mineral deficiencies!! Girl is on a slippery slope health wise. If she's not concerned about her health, why should we be?! Yes I mock her now, but she deserves it. She's sold her soul to be a millionaire, and she cares not a jot about the damage she's doing. She didn't even address the hospitalised baby, from the mum who copied her tips! Every week her tips get worse, and mark my words somebody's going to get seriously injured or die. Already people are mixing chemicals and getting hospital visits. And nobody's addressing it but us.

Everyone that's emailed her with help or advice she's either ignored or blocked.

I run my own business and have a healthy lifestyle & hobbies so have plenty to do. Some of the nicest people write in here. Clear minded, who think for themselves, not just sheep who by their own admission are copying Mrs Hinch and don't even know why. They know it's crazy, their husbands they say, think they are crazy. They are getting into debt, creating toxic homes, clearing shelves of products as Sophie encourages over spending, some have babies being hospitalized after following her tips and she and her followers are poisoning our Planet. If you think I'm not concerned about any or ALL of that, you are severely mistaken!! If one person reads the truth here about how Sophie is a paid puppet to push and promote these products at every turn, how she learnt this insincerity from her hard sales job, how she lies and schemes to sell more more more, then we have campaigned and done a good job. We get new people joining all of the time, and I get messages from people so glad they have a place to be open without fear of reprisal by her crazed fans or being blocked by the hinch herself.

I suggest you stop wasting your time trying to silence people smarter than you (although of course you got that from Sophie!) and instead join facebook, search for Hinchers fans, where you will feel right at home! And good luck to you and yours when you start copying her. You're gonna need it!!

Btw, nothing quite says I'm rigidly bored than searching for, then actually taking time out to join, a Tattle forum then not like what you see! Then complain that people are, tattling. What did you expect?! That is ludicrous behaviour lol I honestly can't with these hinchers.

Btw if they think their complaints will get them Sophie brownie points, it won't! Sophie only cares about Sophie and her fat wallet.

I've been reading since the first thread but haven't posted, but I've finally reached breaking point! As an independent, struggling author it makes me absolutely rage that someone so mundane and talentless can call herself a 'bestselling author' because someone's ghostwritten her a book about bloody bleach.

She will probably soak baby wipes in zoflora as well to ensure babies bum smells like 'fresh linen' or 'country garden'.

Sophie: "Mr Hinch is home guys"
Jamie: "Good evening shoppers"
Sophie: [starts to giggle] "oh shut up"
Hope the hinchers noted the use of the word "shoppers"

Why the hell is she buying ghastly cheap tat from ebay that she doesnt even want and will probably end up in landfil. Her chemical assault on the environment and that poor dog is clearly not excessive enough!
Do you think once her bank account expands and they move house will their taste change from council house chic to ubiquitous instamummy style with The Rug and a Hague Blue Kitchen with 3 brass Tom Dixon pendant lights? Swop Morrisons for Ocado and promote Boden catalogue?

Honestly I like zoflora but I buy one!! Wtaf
Oh god, some of the people in these cult groups regularly brag about clearing the shelves. I called one out for being selfish and she thought she was hilarious! It's beyond tragic that people think it's ok to ruin it for everyone else. I swear by Zoflora, always have (long before the Hinch create came along) but there's any left because of these idiots!!

I'm perplexed... Why is she using beeswax (ya know, for actual wood) on an IKEA laminate covered unit? Another example of using completely unnecessary products!

I do follow Mrs Hinch on Insta. I also follow here. I agree and disagree with some things you guys say and I also disagree with some things Mrs Hinch does. And sometimes for no reason she grates on me. That's fine that's life. So I like to think I've a balanced view.
I've always cleaned and always used Zoflora, country garden being my favourite and I was delighted she hadn't advertised it because there was always loads left. Then she discovered it and now I cant get it anywhere.
My 3 year old has suddenly come out in eczema. I haven't changed any of the cleaning products or things I've always done except doing it more regularly. A lot more regularly. He never suffered with his skin ever. I never used non bio as a baby I've always been very much you have to get accustomed to stuff including germs. The last couple of weeks I've stopped being as OTT as I have been, because well I'm early pregnant and exhausted and CBA to clean constantly as I'd rather sleep, and low and behold his eczema that I'm treating weeks with no improvement has started to clear up. Cleaning Excessively,in my opinion had caused him to flare up for some reason. Weather it was because there was no germs around or because there was more of the chemicals around or probably even both these reasons. But it absolutely is something that should he shared with other mums and Sophie herself, but if I say anything I will be blocked and I enjoy watching her stories. I also enjoy watching pregnancies develop. Unfortunately Sophie has created a culture that has to speak elsewhere because she wont tolerate any kind of criticism, I dont even think mine is a criticism just a by the way that could be useful to other mums. So while sometimes hate breathes in here if we could approach sophie publicly then it would be addressed and dealt with and make these sites obsolete.

Simply, she hoodwinks people for personal gain. She lives in a new build, with no children, it won’t be dirty, so has only ever needed maintenance. Her ‘cleaning regime’ is not a cleaning regime. It’s an unnecessary chemical routine. She encourages mass spending, bulk buying, mixing of dangerous products, and feelings of incompetence in those who do not have time in the day to spritz and karate chop every grey soft furnishing in their house.
