All kicking off in HinchArmyland today guys.
Some have been able to pick up a copy of THE book as Sainsburys have put it out on the shelf two days early. The Army are not happy about this as they are worried the Facebook likes might run out before their copy arrives.
One Army disciple pre-ordered hers from Waterstones, for half the price of Mrs Hinch’s Link. Hers arrived today and was signed with a minky included!
The Army are proper fuming, hungry kids are gnawing away on empty Zoflora boxes as Mums anxiously await the postman and forget to feed them. Society may actually break down soon.

I just saw the time and thought crap , my husband will be home soon and I haven’t daved my under carriage (vagina) elbow greased the fish bowl , tried to coax a pigeon into a hole the size of a lady bird , done any food shopping (face masks, lenor, useless candle jars for my new plants) sprayed the dogs bed with lithium ,or even gave my tap a hand job(wipes it with cif trying not to do it in my best Nigella sexpot voice ) but it’s hard soooooo hard .nor have a fingered a pop tart .....and then I remembered . It’s not 1942 I haven’t got a husband , my child has a different surname to me and if I did have a Jamie he could get his own fucking dinner

I am done.

Someone on the Hinch Facebook group is actually saying they have booked Thursday off work so they can read the book!

Seriously, I have to share oxygen with these morons.

There’s a lot of criticism about her looks/how she dresses/the size of her bump/how slim she is.

I find all of the above very unnecessary and damaging. I don’t care what she wears, as long as she likes it. I’m not bothered about the size of her bump, as long as she and her baby are having a complication free pregnancy. I’m not going to reduce a woman to her looks because I believe that people really don’t need that. Whatever surgery she may or may not have had is her choice.

It’s the bullshitting that is absolutely abhorrent. You’re plugging a shit book which is potentially full of recycled and dangerous ‘tips’ and selling to a target market who hope for order and fulfilment in their lives by emulating you, but they’ll never get it for all the Zoflora in Home Bargains.

She has absolutely zero integrity and anyone who takes advantage of the trust of strangers by being a dangerous role model has no place in the public eye.

Saw just one copy of her book in our local Waterstones yesterday (so funny how I could have got it before her Hinchers 😂)
But instead of buying it, I took that one copy off the display stand and hid it within the depths of the bookshop
Wrong I know but it made me chuckle so don't judge.

Also you know you don't have to actually buy the book to leave a review on Amazon.

Also you don't have to actually have read the book to put a review on Amazon.

Just leaving that there.... 🙄

I’ve just caught up!! It’s taken me a few weeks to read all of these threads 😂

I used to follow her before she became really big and liked her approach etc but then quickly became bored when it was very apparent she was just there to sell things. No longer following her but found tattle thanks to mumsnet and fell down a rabbit hole reading all about her. Instagram is the new advertising medium and it’s friggtening not many seem to see that.

However I do feel that when people are putting hinch down for demeaning mental health they themselves are guilty of that. I’ve had anxiety and ocd for over 20 years. To meet me you wouldn’t think I was. I come across as confident, I go to busy places and socialise. I have a very demanding job with high pressure and fade to face interaction. Yet when I go home that is when it comes out as that is my safe place. I will have crashes in mood, not sleep through worrying excessively about work and having to be somewhere, I self harm and think about suicide regularly etc. There’s some very interesting articles about high functioning with mental health. Please don’t demean someone’s mental health because on the face if it they don’t fit what you think anxiety is. If you do you are adding to the problem.

I have no idea about her mental health nor do I really care. I just think there needs to be more transparency about her selling and advertising.

She was packing Jamie’s boxers yesterday , well when I say packing I mean spraying them with dettol , bleach , zoflora and a couple of spritz’s of febreeze and lovingly rubbing Lenor tumble dryer sheets where his mini hinch (penis) will be . Surprise visit my arse , I’m sure I saw his best vest on a hanger (grey) (ebayer) swipe up for the link hanging on the bedroom door in the reflection of those fugly tin foil clock digits 🙄 hope he gets in the right lift that hotel looks like it’s got right tricky ones

Can I just say something re-anxiety: although I believe she’s playing it up a bit I don’t think she’s making it completely up. We all handle stress differently and as someone who has anxiety but functions during an attack i don’t think we should just dismiss it. Do i think the insta stories of the worry angel and mindful book were needed. Fuck no. BUT I do believe she has some levels of anxiety and I think we should be careful in how dismissive we speak about it. Someone with what would be perceived by some as a mild form reads the comments and feels like they are making things up and not go to a GP to get help. So what ever levels of anxiety you have: it sucks but you’re not making things up. And look after yourself

But opinions can be harmful. There’s a huge amount of stigma out there around mental health and an even bigger amount of misinformation. If we are discussing about how harmful she is being by saying she has anxiety then we also need to apply this to ourselves. I’m not going to say ATB back but I hope people understand what I’m trying to say and not use the excuse of “opinions” to further reinforce this misinformation. It’s good we are having discussions though.

Sorry for derailing the thread but it was something that kept jumping out at me.

It’s nothing to do with stigmas, I have a differing opinion and I am firmly of the believe Sophie does not suffer from any anxieties, even mild. (Am I allowed to judge that based on what she posts online? I don’t know, and I don’t care - if she doesn’t want her mental health discussed she shouldn’t discuss it herself)

There are multiple reasons for my belief that she is lying about MH problems, but the biggest one of all, that screams out to me is that someone reached out to her, at their lowest point (before attempting to commit suicide) and she blocked them.
She has no compassion, empathy or even basic understanding of anxiety/depression and the effects surrounding it. Her behaviour is not at all charactistic of someone suffering with MH (agreed, not everyone shows signs, but on a very public platform you would expect this to creep through, even just once).

Every single time she talks about her ‘anxiety’ which she is confusing with nerves, she is demeaning and devaluing me and thousands of others who have suffered debilitating mental illness.

Phil & Holly will not ask her any difficult questions, gleam have probably paid a fortune to get Hinch back on the show, despite what Phil & Holly think of her, they will be nice as pie, they’ve probably been told what they can & cant say to her 🤷‍♀️🙄

Had a snoop on her facebook page, someone’s not a stranger to photoshopping (badly, may I add) her pics... the worst thing is they’re all like this!

Also, I vote for this picture to be used on the This Morning segment as it perfectly ecapsulates what Sophie is... a giant cock.

True but we're talking about Mrs Hinch here. She didn't mention any anxiety at all, not for months. She didn't mention it before, during or after her first This Morning live show.

She has lied about so many things, such as "I wrote a book, guys", without ever mentioning it before, without ever showing herself writing, without anything other than showing the book (which at the time, was empty but she pretended it was full) She got the book deal after signing with Gleam. Who have a history of taking on influencers, who upset their fans and THEN they say they have anxiety, and use it for all kinds of ways to get out of things. Such as Zoella refusing to meet fans or do anything that requires effort. By the way, now Zoella has taken a back seat, she's said her anxiety is cured.

Now right after Mrs Hinch signed with Gleam, and got a book deal, the very day before the book release, Mrs Hinch stole a blanket from the plane bringing her back from her honeymoon in the Maldives. And she made stories of the whole thing, laughing about wanting to keep it and the filming it wrapped around her legs on the journey home. She annoyed her viewers, and said she was getting endless messages complaining about it. She then said she had an anxiety attack 'for the first time in 2 years'. Her fans immediately rushed to her rescue, all was forgiven, she even posted a message showing she had 'asked the plane company if she could return it' (she kept it, and hasn't used it since) and the next day she got to #1 in book sales. Twice.

Convenient timing, no?

Now call me cynical, but I've seen all this before. Sure, with normal people, who aren't money grubbing fiends desperate for success, fame and money, I would agree with you. But when it comes to Mrs Hinch, who I have learnt through experience lies about almost EVERYTHING and then when she gets found out deletes / removes / blocks the evidence, I take it all with a GIANT pinch of salt.

For anyone else, I agree anxiety has many forms and I feel for you and please do keep help if you think it will help, suffering alone is never the answer 💕
