Morecambe advice?!

Hello,
Not sure of anyone on here is from Morecambe area but we're going on holiday there Friday and was hoping maybe some one could give a rough guide on the weather and any top tips on places to visit/avoid?!

Not sure about Morecambe itself but Lancaster is nice and the castle is worth a visit. Also very close to Windermere

Weather hit and miss at best

Heysham village is lovely, just down the road from Morecambe. There are a couple of really nice pubs. Also agree Lancaster is fab. There’s a walking/bike path which runs all the way from Morecambe into Lancaster and beyond along the canal which is really nice.

The Midland at Morecame does a lovely afternoon tea, you need to book though x

Just be mindful of the beach as the tide comes in very quickly and there is quicksand.
