Mole on my arm- do you think it looks suspicious?

I have this mole on my arm, it’s not itchy and hasn’t ever bled, but I feel like it has a tiny part on it like a spot head that’s lighter and a tiny part that’s dark and near the edge. If any of you have had experience with this or are in the medical field I’d really really appreciate if you could give me advice do you think it needs checking out?😭 I tend to worry a lot about my health and I really just hope I’m worrying over nothing

I’m not in the medical field and have no experience at all, I’m sure it’ll be fine but just for peace of mind I think you should book a GP appointment straight away xx

If it has always been like that then it’s probably nothing but if you have noticed any changes then please get checked.

It’s weird because I don’t ever think I’ve noticed it, it’s only now I have, but I’ve seen photos of “suspicious” ones and mine looks so normal next to them. Thank you I will keep an eye on it😭💙

If you think it’s changed in size or appearance you should get it checked. Always better to check.

Feel

feeling quite anxious to go docs due to COVID, but thank you I will maybe call them
Please do. Call your Doctor’s Surgery. They may not be able to see you face to face straight away but may ask you to send some pictures to them via email for the doctor to look at. All the best to you.

It’s always worth getting them checked but honestly yours looks pretty normal. The doctors tend to say if you’ve noticed a change to an existing mole it’s good to get them looked at. I had one similar to yours that was normal and flat and then seemed to turn into a spot, it wasn’t anything and it just went away after a while but I got it checked just in case.

Ooo okay! Thank you for your reply💙 I sent my docs an online form with a photo so I’m hoping they’ll get back to me soon - glad yours went away, mine looks like a little spot too and I have quite a few tiny little spots on my arm

I'm so freckly and have lots of moles all over my body. Forever checking mine for changes, but my GP said if they change in size, are raised, become itchy, scabby or start to bleed then contact them. If it has always been like that then it should be fine, but for your peace of mind it does no harm to get it checked out 😊

*EDIT* Just saw you emailed the GP, hope they get back to you quickly.

Please do! I went to get a mole checked out recently, it was originally a phone appointment but he asked me to come in the surgery that day. Then within 2 weeks I’d been referred to the hospital and within a week it had been removed! Definitely worth it for your peace of mind xx

They rang me today and arranged me a meeting with a specialist to check it, I hope it’s nothing!😭
