She even wrote a post about why she does on her blog several years ago.This whole thing feels so ridiculous, the melodramatic hand wringing and all of the drama, because she’s been shown to be bitchy? Taking the comment about CB out, I just couldn’t work up enough energy to be that arsed that she was being bitchy here? Yes it makes her a bitchy hypocrite but all of the pearl clutching from the influencers is just utterly ridiculous. A woman has been a dick, calm yourselves! It'll all blow over. People have done much worse and recovered!
I find it ridiculous this insta community had no issue with her bullying attitude to others, no problem with her lack of transparency around gifts, no issue with the overuse and over exposure of her kids, no issue with her using and manipulating her audience for engagement (let’s talk PND - oops AD for Superdrug) but do get on their high horse and stir up all this nonsense because she was a bit of a dick on an online forum?

(What she said about CB is just straight up racism, if she’d said her content was boring or whatever, then fine but she went personal and in with the comments on race and ‘angry black woman’ stereotype. No one seems angry at her for this, just the ~betrayal)

100%. That entire lot are only concerned about themselves. I always wondered whether they could see that having panel events where the same tedious boring people speak ALL THE TIME might not just be, well tedious. There are other instamums that I personally find harder to stomach than MOD tbh
I can see why she wanted a break from having to be so sickly sweet all the time! There’s obviously a big disjunction between her online presence and her real personality. All the woke stuff always felt incredibly forced, both her and FOD often let that slip. They’re both really privileged and not especially intelligent or reflective. Behind the Cash and Candice stuff is a real sense of entitlement only lovely white middle class ladies with perfect taste should be allowed to speak. I do feel pity for her though it’s horrendous to imagine being at the centre of this and being so visible you couldn’t get away from it, imagine how paranoid you’d feel. I know it’s of her own creation but still a horrible thought.

CB won’t have known about all this Alice stuff when she agreed to the podcast surely. I know there’s been speculation in tattle for months but it seems it’s taken til this week for Alice to be exposed and clemmie to confirm it (obviously a lot has happened behind the scenes that we don’t know about that forced clemmie into a corner). There’s no way these othe insta Huns have been sitting on this golden goose of a story for months. I bet they didn’t manage 3 days

The comments I’ve read on her instagram haven’t been that bad either. Just people speaking out about their disappointment, which they have a right to do considering their support is what has got Clemmie to the insta-mum-influencer level she is at.

She might not lose many followers amongst the masses but she has definitely stop being followed by a lot of her contemporaries. That is going to hurt big time, no more sisterhood and back slapping meet-ups or collabs.
