Our family is having its first without our lost loved one, it’s even harder than I expected tbh. Not sure what I expected but it’s like raw grief all over again.

Us too. It has been an even more emotional few days. We lost our loved quiet one quiet recently and after a short illiness and it was not expected at all, not until the very end.... i wouldn't wish this pain on anyone including Greedy.
I hope time spent with their families gives them some sort of comfort

For Christmas I got covid! Due my booster next week, not sure whether to bother now. hoping it does not get any worse. I’ve sent my kids to family. They are testing daily and still negative thankfully. I’d hate to pass this to them.

Sorry to hear you got covid. Once I had it I didn’t bother with the booster I saw getting covid as a natural immunity for some months. Im not a drinker but the boredom of isolation could push me to drink . Few more days and I am free. going to celebrate with a long walk in the fresh air🤌
