Appreciate she wants her profiles to be a positive space but I remember around BLM she was using that as a reason to not post about it which is disappointing and I feel like some of her stuff edges into conspiracy/anti vaxx territory

I like her now more than I did on MIC but does anyone else find it weird that she listens to her own meditations all the time? I have the app and like them but it’s just strange to me to listen to your own voice for relaxation

I used to really really like her, even on MIC - I felt that she was a bit of an outcast and the other cast members were a bit mean to her. I still think she is okay, but a lot of her content borders on hyper positivity which I find a bit unrealistic. Like it's okay to have bad days? I like her wellness platform in general, but I feel that she's really bad at taking any sort of criticism or constructive feedback. For example, she doesn't have any area on her website for reviews and only allows reviews through DM.

I think if she wants to continue her lavish lifestyle, she needs to work on not censoring people so much (similar to the BLM issue above) and actually listen to feedback & take it on board. I don't know how long I'll stay subscribed to Mimi Method - I like the meditations and exercise, but feel some of the recipes are a bit bland.

Super late but would love to hear your experience with Mimi Method! She always talks about the meditations being life changing but it would be great to know if its worth subscribing or if you can find similar for free elsewhere.. What's her voice like in them?

Sadly we cant all move to the Bahamas like she has, but have to say she is looking great these days. And agree its telling when she alludes to not being clsoe to people on MIC and not really remaining friends with them.

Hey! (Had to set up new acc as I got locked out of my other one) Yeah I like Mimi Method, I initially joined for the recipes, but now she just has meditations and pilates. I think her meditations are good, albeit a bit repetitive at times. I'd be interested to know where she gets the content for them from. Her voice is a lot calmer in them than when she is regularly talking. I wouldn't say my life has changed as dramatically as she promises, but I do like incorporating the meditations into my routine. I would recommend doing the free trial if you already have an interest in meditation. I haven't really seen another platform that offers the exact same thing in one place.

Agree she is very lucky to be able to live in the Bahamas, I definitely think moving there was part of business plan - all the aspirational content at the sea, sunset etc. Her latest 'Future Self Summit' event and other 'courses' irk me though. She charges a lot for them and they all allude to the same thing 'drastically improving ones life'. What if someone's life doesn't change, is she gonna offer a refund lol? Sometimes I feel like she is becoming more and more like one of these 'influencer coaches'; she really doesn't have the qualifications to be offering the sort of advice she does which undermines the work of people who have spent years studying to become therapists.

Yep relentlessly harping on about it again. If the courses were actually worth what they are, they wouldn't be selling them all off for 75 quid. Also 'love' how she says they'll never have this deal again, when they probably will

Mimi did a stint on Made in Chelsea a couple of years ago and is now an influencer with a wellness brand. She recently moved to the Bahamas with her boyfriend.

Would be good to get some thoughts on her from others!

Does anyone here have the activations app? I listened to her on the raise podcast and listened to her book on Spotify and really liked it, but realised after listening to two different podcast episodes where she is a guest that she just says the same thing over and over. Plus she never updates her own activate podcast, which makes me wonder how consistent she really is as a business owner. She’ll do one or two episodes and then abandon it for months at a time. Doesn’t seem very “future self” aligned

I used the Activations app for a while and I have to say I did actually like it - but I think you have to be in the right mindset. I was going through a hard time but actively wanted to make a change and so found them uplifting , but if you weren’t in that headspace then they can probably feel very annoying! I do agree tho when she is on Podcasts I don’t bother to listen as it is just the same thing over and over again. But someone I know worked at her wedding and said she was super nice so at least she is genuine

I’m sorry but I don’t get how she is so wealthy - apparently. She says her app is super successful but I’m pretty sure many haven’t heard of it - whereas Calm is commonly known for example. Also if you’re doing so well, do you need to keep harping on about it - it’s getting old now agreed that the podcast is very inconsistent.
