Well this is what I was thinking, we have 3 sets, one for Christmas/the winter and 2 others, we wash and dry them all the time, I know kids will have more but surely she could declutter some too? Give them to an animal shelter? She honestly has stuff bursting at the seams, I’d love her to be really honest that she’s spent to try and fix it but that’s not worked and never was going too so now she’s going minimalist and only has things she needs for now (she’s got to be back in debt) when they get their first energy bill as a couple she’s in for a shockWhy does she need so much storage for bedding anyway? Especially when she only washes and changes her set once a year.
Me too, I also have 2 children and a tiny box room as a spare room. I would be decluttering before adding new bits of storage. The thing with little storage is making sure you regularly declutter & not add extra furniture to house what is otherwise rubbish. If she shelved the airing cupboard she’d get loads in! I live in a new build with no storage ( and no garage) I use my airing cupboard for towels, cleaning stuff for upstairs, husbands tools. We have an ottoman bed for bedding and seasonal clothes and then we boarded half the loft for everything else! Our spare room has the large malm drawers for bits and bobs. You have to get creative when you have no storage
But I would never have Kallax or a billy for storage.
She sounds how I was when I finally moved out of shared student accommodation and into a flat with just me and my partner, so excited for the most mundane things cause they’d just be *ours*Why are the radiators so tiny in that house? Is it because new builds are well insulated and big rads aren't really needed?
She's running away with herself again in today's vlog. Can't wait to have her own cleaning cupboard. In the next vlog she'll have created a new obstacle course on that landing with whatever 'storage' she's planning because she can't wait to plan it out properly and practically.
