I really do agree with what you’re saying if true (only adding that as I’ve not personally watched those videos). But I don’t think he’s a bad dad because of what Mia has said. I think he’s a bad Dad because he’s no Dad.

Mabel is the the one who’s innocent here and he and his family should have made the effort regardless of Mia being wrong or right to be there for the child. If Mia made that impossible from the start, which I personally doubt, they should have took further action. All my opinion of course but I hate it when people blindly defend men in these situations. It’s a real problem socially, that is my point.

Recap of the last thread (if I miss anything out cause I can't remember things earlier on in the thread, then please add):

Mia has started college doing a childcare course, though it seems to be only for one year instead of two.
Bets are she will drop out around October half term or Christmas
Mabel has started nursery 3 days a week 8am-6pm, at least she's now socialising with other children her age and gets fed nutritious meals instead of toast and cheese puffs.
Mia now has an obsession with Harry Potter and Tom Felton when he was in the films, cringe.

I think there’s only a tiny slither of what has gone on between Mia and baby daddy that we know about as outsiders.
And if baby daddy was also 17 and potentially really immature (drinking/ taking drugs doesn’t make you mature and if anything shows the immaturity of an adolescent) he might not have the same paternal urge that a more mature parent would.
According to Mia his response to her pregnancy wasn’t positive which could have been for any number of reasons, but if at any point baby daddy decides he would like to be part of Mabels life he has every right to take Mia to court to be allowed visits. As somebody said last thread, it won’t be smooth sailing like it is in all of the American tv shows, but it is totally achievable.

edit: posted this because I don’t really understand the disagreement other people were having surrounding baby daddy.

The irony behind Mia saying ‘he smells and doesn’t drive’ when she goes days without showering, weeks without changing her bedding and doesn’t drive herself 🥴 whatever their arrangement is with Mabel must suit them both but it’s totally unnecessary for her to slag him off (and vice versa for him) he can’t be that bad if she went to bed with him!

Has anyone seen her recent Snapchat 😂 online school and watching Harry Potter, can’t wait for the video on it, it’ll be about 3 minutes of watchable content and 12 minutes of her repeating herself and saying ‘to be honest’ or ‘obviously’ 😂 she’s literally at home clearly not working at all and watching Harry Potter so why is Mabel at nursery from 8-6 again ???

Did anyone see Mia put a pic up on her snapchat of her birth control pills?😂 you can’t tell me that was an accident or she didn’t notice them there ( the Harry Potter online schooling post)

That’s such an unfair statement to make “ he’s no dad”
He hasn’t been given the bloody chance! Mia met him once but wouldn’t let him touch, hold or take photos with Mabel because “he smelt”
He’s not on the birth certificate so that makes it yet another step harder in court to fight for custody.
Why should he pay for a child he isn’t allowed to see yet? If he eventually comes into mabels life then of course he should help with the costs.
Mia slags him off all social media, people say why doesn’t he defend himself etc etc. Maybe he is keeping quiet so that he looks like the more mature one?
I find it so so infuriating that she is denying Mabel the chance to have a daddy in her life.
My little family is what keeps me going and my daughter loves her dad so much. I grew up without one so I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.
Her little minions are so quick to tell her she’s doing the right thing with mabels dad when actually she’s just going to cause emotional stress and difficulties in the future 😬

You’re entitled to your opinion, as I am. He is no Dad, not around so I think that’s a fair comment 🤷🏼‍♀️ and I totally stand by that comment. You can’t put someone on a birth certificate if you’re not married and they don’t attend the registration so that’s hardly out of spite.

Hopefully he grows up soon or his family sort something out as it’s not Mia or the Dad I feel sorry for. (Assuming they are decent enough people to be a positive influence in her life).

He might not defend himself because you can’t defend the indefensible. I would be prepared to bet he has little to no evidence he has tried. I bet Mia does on him not giving a tit. Hopefully I’m wrong because it’s sad how many young men behave this way.

And he should pay for a child he doesn’t see because it’s still his child and innocent in all this, (also it’s possibly his choice not to see her, so any man that chooses not to see their child don’t need to support them!?!) She needs things. Shouldn’t punish the child because he don’t like Mia, also gives him no credibility of really trying to see his child and be part of her life (I have no idea If he does or doesn’t pay, but this is my opinion if he doesn’t).

You’ll be surprised how difficult it is for men, especially ones that are not on the birth certificate! Mia out right said “I don’t want Mabel to have anything to do with him because he smells and doesn’t drive a car” he’s a teenage boy and it takes a hell of a lot of maturity to get them on board... allow them to talk about what they want (I’ve been there with my first daughters dad) like we both made the baby, I wanted my baby to have both parents that love it whether we’re together or apart! I would not have slated him online and denied access due to the fact he smelt and didn’t drive! it’s not even defending mabels dad in this sense, it’s watching Mia completely slag him off and call him a tit influence when he clearly hasn’t even had the chance to prove that point whether it be himself not acting on it or Mia. I fully agree that Mabel is the only innocent party in it all and the only one that will get hurt in the end! Mia and her approaches to topics, lies and fabrication do not convince me that’s she wouldn’t hinder any relationship between Mabel and her dad and that’s my opinion.

Tbh he hasn’t actually done anything ‘wrong’ I’m sure if he did Mia would’ve told everyone Atleast 300 times by now it just seems like she wants Mable to herself and doesn’t want to Atleast try have a family with her and her baby’s dad , you never know he may be trying to be in her life behind the scenes but we’ll never know

@Marymoo13 he wants access to mabel but mia has always refused and courts are VERY expensive so he can’t go to them for help rn and he’s also 21 not 17

@Doyoureally? in response to the comments that he has no evidence.. he does. it’s why mia has no friends because everyone in her area has seen the proof of her being a witch and not letting the dad see his own child. mia said from the start he wasn’t having anything to do with his child as she didn’t want him around her because she’s immature. he’s reached out quite a few times

My guess is ‘day in the life of a teen mum at college ft Harry Potter tik toks’ and it will be just a 10 minute clip of her ranting before going to college about how Mabel didn’t sleep in and the last 5 mins will be ‘so I just got home from college now I’m going to watch Harry Potter and put Mabel to bed, hope you enjoyed the vlog!’

Maybe a “teen mum at college morning routine” that’s basically just a repeat of her grwm video and shows Mabel for about 30 seconds

Regardless of your opinion, Mia has in no way put Mabel first in any situation involving her dad. Mabel's dad may be an absolute piece of tit, we don't know that therefore we can't can't comment, what we can comment on is the slander Mia has publicly shared throughout Mabel's entire life. Whether Mia likes it or not, Mabel is biologically 50% of that boy and she will internalise those feelings Mia has towards her dad whether it's intentional on Mia's part or not. My parents were in a similar situation, I was conceived via a one night stand and they quickly realised they despised eachother. They haven't had any direct contact since I was six months old. Despite this, they had the maturity to never talk badly of one another, to a point I didn't even know anything was bad between their relationship until I was a teenager. I'm 21 now, in 20 years when Mabel is the same age is me will she genuinely be able to say the same? Mabel is going to grow up very confused if Mia keeps going the way she's going, there's no doubt about that in my mind. Not having experience of seeing a healthy relationship can mess you up as well, I know that from experience

I’m currently watching Mia’s video and she’s already moaning because she has no free periods and no independent time and also that she’s at school from nine till five even though she’s only there two days and one day at home. And none of it is what she expected. To be honest I wouldn’t be surprised if she drops out after less than three weeks
And she’s moaning that placement is on a Monday and Friday every week for a year and she thought it was every day for two weeks of the year. She’s also moaning that placement is eight till six when she said it’s not like I want to be working there. It’s as if he doesn’t want to be in the same place as where Mabel is. Like it’s as if she sending Mabel to nursery to get rid of her because most parents would be happy to have placement at their child’s nursery but she just seems annoyed about it

And then at the end of the video she is all I’m going to see my careers adviser because I don’t even know whether I wanna stay on the course. Tbh no one surprised

Just because it’s not Mia’s way or her dream expectation of life Mia doesn’t like it. Mia most jobs are nine till five. Like she’s got a get used to it one day it’s not like YouTube will last forever
