Has anyone noticed changes to their menstrual cycle during lockdown? I've noticed a very gradual change from a regular period (to the day usually) to unpredictable 35ish day cycles. This month has been my longest (40 days).

Has anyone else noticed this shift due to lockdown lifestyle changes?

Just to be different, my periods have been earlier/closer together during lockdown.
Not on any normal birth control so no idea why they’re becoming more frequent but I’m not sure I’m enjoying it.

Mine is all over the place. I used to be every 28 days and pretty much bang on. But I only had my first period of the year at the end of March. I'm not on any hormonal contraception and not pregnant. A similar thing happened when the first lockdown was announced last year and I went about two months without a period. Very strange 😐

Periods have always been really regular but the nature of my PMS has changed. Its gone from rage to fatigue and brain fog. 🥴 I fell asleep on the sofa every day this week, just exhausted.

Yep. Mine are longer when they were always like clockwork.

They probably don’t know what day it is.

My menstrual cycles have been increasingly irregular over the past year (I have always had regular cycles and always knew when my period was due). At one point towards the end of last year I went 3 months without having a period and the only times I’ve ever missed were when I was pregnant, which obviously this time wasn’t the case. I do wonder if it had something to do with stress levels. I’ve been under a lot, as has everyone due to the pandemic, but I also wonder if my job could be playing a part in it too. Prior to lockdown I was a stay at home mum, and I started working night shifts in a busy dementia unit.

I haven’t (I’m pregnant), but I saw an ad on Facebook the other day which is an Oxford university study looking at the effects of the last year on menstrual cycles. Here is the link if you’re interested in completing it.

When I worked in an office, mine used to adjust to be in line with people I worked with! So odd ... yet others (who I didn't work with), reported a similar experience.

I’m like this. The week before I come on I fall asleep before 9.. I’m always worried I’m actually pregnant as first weeks are tiring 🤣 but I forget things like my Brain actually falls out! It’s that bad it’s horrible. I always say to my female colleagues at work we should have get sick leave for being on

Yep my cycles seem irregular and longer.. sometimes 30 days but more often 35 to 38! Drives me a bit mad
Just wanted to add that I used to work 9-5 office but currently wfh.. I've also started getting migraines the week running up to my period and the week after and crazy bloat during, what I'm guessing, is ovulation
Such joy
