Melissa Lucy is an American youtuber from Florida who does mostly lifestyle/university vlogs and has recently opened up her own online boutique (“Sunbunny”). She’s in school to become a nurse and also works part time in an ER!

A couple days ago she posted a vlog in which she showed clips of her getting her hair done but neither she nor her hairdresser wore a mask.
This has caused some disturbance from some of her followers - especially as the cases in Florida are super high!

She first replied to a few comments brushing it off by saying she was the only one in the salon and her hairdresser was her “soon-to-be cousin”. However more people called her out for it and she then made a very rude and arrogant sounding post on the community tab (see below). Still many people are calling her out for her responsibilities as an influencer yet all she does is laugh at people
and even implying that some people are stupid (for actually taking this pandemic seriously.

So, here’s the big situation which has caused me to open up a thread for her.
Honestly she’s been getting on my nerves as she’s SO shady with her affiliate links and also she obviously has a problem with buying. In literally every video she’s doing an unboxing 🤦🏼‍♀️

I unsubscribed. When she was all about becoming a PA I liked following her but that seems to be far from her sights now. That's her prerogative but I don't care for watching her pose in tacky outfits and overspending with no real content. Plus some of her comments can be pretty rude to her followers.

i feel like she's over school and saying that her classes were filled and she wasn't able to get in so is focusing on sunbunny now was just an excuse. rly unrelatable.

Absolutely! She also seems to have stopped working in the ER?
