I (with regret) was a fan of her content until she bought that flat in wherever it was. The modern expensive high rise. And America?! Just seemed to go against everything she promoted that she stood for.

I was very much lead up the garden path thinking she was a free spirited hippy, living somewhat humbly in nature etc.

She's shown herself to be so materialistic and money orientated.

That new guy is so awkward and cringe. I don't get how he outwardly can be so stereotypically attractive but so unappealing. Can't put my finger on it. It's like he's not been properly socialised.

Giving false info about boosting milk supply as well. It’s been proved that lactation cookies and supplements etc don’t boost your milk supply only bringing baby to breast regularly will. But then this doesn’t surprise me as she has to be the expert in everything. No doubt she’ll price it all into to a new goddess mama package at some point

This is going to be another Rachel Hollis scenario. She was shilling marriage seminars and then got divorced. Apparently they had problems for a long time I don’t wish misfortune on anyone of course, but I hope Mel stays with the bloke. It does all feel a bit smug somehow.

She’s an absolute charlatan. I’ve watched her body language on some of this very early meet and greets with her followers and it was evident then that she is completely disingenuous. An interesting interview (to me) that she gave a while ago (post break up with R) was when she was asked who is Mel Wells and she stumbled and could not answer at all. She then gave some airy overview of self but I get the feeling for someone with so many words of wisdom, especially all the inner work she has done and is doing… at the core is someone still seeking something that is sorely missing. The goddess movement and the recycling of the sun, moon, types of women nothingness is all a bit smoke and mirrors, oh and a way to bring in the wonga for me. She is an actress after all. It’s all so self indulgent. It’s all for money make no mistake. I wish her well but I these types of charlatans really do boil my p***s.

Smoke and mirrors, exactly my thoughts too. She is playing a role in my eyes. Always on to the next “self help, self love” topic to rake in more money and exploit more people.
