Has anyone watched her latest video, the q&a car chat one. Now don't get me wrong I do like Megan and I've been watching her a lot recently but it pissed me off at one point in the video. Someone asked her "what do you do on your day off?" And she responded with "honey I don't have a day off", which really frustrated me. She said how the day before wasn't actually a day off because she was taking "intsagram photos, so that consists of working"! It made me so mad as some of us who have proper jobs would do anything to have it easy like her!! I get she's a student and that does take up time, however if she thinks that taking pictures for inatagram is "work" then wait until she comes in to the real world. Which she most likely won't as she'll then become a full time YouTuber and live off ads and promotions!
They all - not just Megan - make out as if they have it hard and work loads when in reality they have it easy compared to some of us. Infact taking pictures, photography and drawing for my art account is what I do on my days off to unwind.
Sorry for the rant but it really frustrated me hearing her say that and making out she has no days off when she can easily take a day off when she wants. She has the next 2 weeks off from uni, no "real" job unlike unlike rest of us who have 21-28 days AL a year and cannot spontaneously take it, they have it so lucky compared to real, hardworking people. I hope she doesn't turn into a typical influencer but it seems to be turning that way already.

i’ve just watched her new video and found it so awkward when imogen (i think it was her) asks megan where she got the heated rollers from because she wanted to get some and she goes ‘i literally just got them off argos’ and she says it so dismissively and then imogen goes ‘but you only paid like £35 for them’ as if to ask which ones they were because they were affordable and megan goes ‘yeah but you can literally get these ones anywhere’ - idk how to describe it but it just felt really uncomfortable and like megan didn’t want to say what exact ones they were and it gave me the vibes of those girls who don’t tell you where their outfits are from

also she tries to get gabi to try on her jeans and gabi was like ‘they won’t fit me’ and megan was like really encouraging her to try them on saying they’ll fit her and said she’d do a transition of her getting into them and didn’t and then later on in the video megan’s like ‘we never did your jean transition earlier’ and gabis like ‘yeah bc they didn’t fit me’ and megan was like ‘you still should’ve done it it would’ve been funny’ ???? what would’ve been funny? laughing at a clip of gabi not being able to fit into your jeans? it’s almost like she wanted to make a point of the fact she’s so tiny that no one else would fit, i found that really weird as well idk if anyone else picked up on it

It’s very good that that’s YOUR opinion. You don’t have to agree w me cause it’s MY opinion. I find it cringe when anyone says those phrases doesn’t matter where they’re from to me it sounds weird n annoying. And FOR ME it’s mainly men that I hear so those things where I’m from. I listen to the same music as her judging from her Spotify playlist n I don’t think I’ve said any of those. Yh it’s different for every person but I’m saying FOR ME I dislike when people say it. Just like people disliking her fashion sense it’s a matter of opinion. Some love it maybe where she’s from people dress like that idk n Idc but to me it’s weird. But thank you

her new video just doesn’t sit right with me ... asking SMALL businesses to send you free stuff whilst your spending ££££££ on big companies such as Zara/ASOS weekly. Like I know she’s promoting the small businesses, but surely you should spend your coin with them ???? Influencers are wild

i haven’t finished the whole video yet but in her newest ones he’s doing a haul trying on oh polly clothes and there’s a pair of jeans that are too big for her and she’s saying she might get the size down instead but she also starts the video by saying she has covid so obviously filmed it when she did, surely she’s not trying clothes on that she might be sending back while she’s infected with covid?

Tbh I think podcasts are being overdone now, almost every youtuber is doing them. And if you don't have a niche then it'll just get lost and not do well at all. At least its not a gym podcast

i hate this attitude that she’s got thinking she is gods gift to human nature. “i dunno why he’d break up with me because who would want to break up with me”. i’m all for self love and confidence but to a certain extent, part of that is recognising your flaws and the fact that you aren’t perfect. i don’t think Megan has got that balance. you can’t be the best version of yourself without admitting that there are parts of your character that aren’t positive traits, you have to accept those parts of yourself aswell to truly have that confidence that she wants to convince everyone she has. not being able to admit “maybe i just wasn’t what he wanted in a girlfriend” isn’t productive and it’s unrealistic. she gives me girlboss vibes and would try and suck you into a pyramid scheme. i just personally don’t like that attitude and i’m finding it hard to watch her videos because of it.

watching her new video and actually so over how boy obsessed she is, she makes so many comments trying to flex the relationship, when asked if she’d rather have a boring stable relationship or an exciting non-committed one she was emphasising like ‘i could NEVER have a boring relationship that could NEVER be me!! imagine not having FUN!!’ like ok we get it you’re in a ‘fun’ relationship

then she was talking about an old date story with a different boy than who she’s with now and she immediately got giggly and i think she’s just obsessed with male attention of any kind

one thing that really irks me about her is the blatant lies about her clothing brand, in the bio of the account they are listed as ‘sustainable’ however it transpires she gets them from a wholesalers which means they are most likely mass produced in big warehouses, it’s just infuriating that she’s always portraying herself as some eco queen activist yet doing asos hauls and shit every week, one last point, I have known Megan since school, at one point she released a video in which she raps or sings the n word in full at a party or something a few times, obviously been scrubbed from the internet now, but might still be floating around imo she’ll say absolutely anything to get people to like her/watch her videos, if you cared about the planet and the impacts of fast fashion etc you wouldn’t buy hundreds of pounds of that shit every week, also I second whoever said she can’t style clothes for shit, those hoodies she put out made me throw up in my mouth I hope she didn’t pay for that graphic to be designed
