Just found this thread and enjoying it immensely. As a long term Dubai resident myself, and hater of people like this woman, let me join in!
This bint is one of a few Irish “pilot wife” IG and tiktokers that are all ex cabin crew, all live in meydan and are all boring as fuck. They all know each other and are all bitchy as fuck. for example, someone mentioned pilotwifeindubai and there is another one under the handle iamkerrimurphy - they are basically copies of Meg but with better editing and natural boobs. They all degine themselves via their partner’s job as a pilot which is super sad as they clearly have no identities of their own.
They try to portray the high life in Dubai but they don’t have the finances for this. A pilot for emirates is on less than 100k euro a year. They get housing and medical for free and usually school Fees paid, but even without tax this doesn’t go that far in Dubai for a family of 4. Meg’s partner won’t be on the top whack as he isn’t legacy or old enough - I’d say you’re looking at a monthly income of max 40k dhs plus one annual bonus, which sounds like a lot but factor in the cost of cars, school uniforms and equipment (all kids need iPads here), transport (taxis, school buses etc), extracurricular activities (not usually included in fees), groceries (much of the imported stuff they buy including alcohol is expensive), birthdays, days out, the odd date night and 35 dhs a pop for coffee and you’ll blow through that pretty quick. When you factor in what she must spend a month on nails, hair, Botox and make up (not to mention boob job repayments etc) they would be lucky to have a pot to piss in. She buys cheap groceries - I saw the cheap bread in one video - and doesn’t seem to know you can get Brennans bread and taytos on Kibsons so she’s defo on a budget at carrefour.
you’d think they’d travel loads because (a) he’s a pilot and (b) they live in Dubai. But no… they can’t really afford it. None of them can really. All any of them do is go home for the summer and maybe take one cheapish holiday a year (if even that for some of them) on an emirates flight.

Parties and cool places. No they don’t. This one seems to spend her life in McCafferty’s in JVC which is, in my view, cheap and cheerful as it gets and full of teachers and cabin crew for this reason alone! None of them ever go anywhere more exciting than shimmers beach club, mccaffs, mcgettigans, barasti and the odd brunch (which is usually bogof if they have the entertainer app) as they need to get their money’s worth and. These places offer discount for emirates platinum card holders which her husband will have as staff (and she will have use of). I’ve seen some of these women posting about date nights in Jones the Grocer on the palm, which isn’t my idea of an upmarket night out… it’s basically a licensed cafe with a nice view.
none of them have Nannies because they are at home all day and they’re all massive bitches as they have nothing else to do so can’t retain them. Query also whether they can afford to pay the decent wages - and you really do get what you pay for when it comes to nannies here

I find it embarrassing how many of these women are Irish.
Now what I find interesting about this Meg is that she doesn’t appear to be married to the partner: is this right? If so, how does she have a visa or medical insurance? Yes it’s doable having kids without being married now, but he can’t sponsor her if she’s not married to him. So I assume she has some sort of freelance visa and pays for her own medical insurance (which will be pricey)?
and if this is the case… why won’t he marry her? Who lives abroad and won’t even do a quick visa wedding to the mother of their kid?

I saw her in the comments of someone who is complaining about Irish people and she said when she comes home to Ireland she has to shrink herself down over the small town mentality
