She lives down my road and she's honestly so lovely and down to earth. Other neighbours say the same. Her little boy is so so sweet. I remember taking my little one round on Halloween trick or treating and they had a huge box of toys to give to the kids. She, the husband and son were dressed up and they were so kind to my son. I feel for her!

Looking very thin these days. She was never fat or “chubby” (fuck you Love Actually) but she always was slim with curves. These days she looks positively ill. We know she’s not naturally this skinny. What we thinking? Gastric sleeve? weight watchers? Ozempic?

I went back in her Instagram photos and pre-2020, before she lost weight, there are very few full body shots of her. Lots of face shots, photos of her husband and kid and Facebook-level inspirational quotes. These days it’s constant fit-checks wearing the tightest of clothing, swimsuit pics etc where she looks incredibly skinny.

I hope she’s ok, as I always liked her, and thought in the 90s she had a rough ride about her body, whereas she looked great!

100% sleeve. She’s lost it quickly (she got much bigger than love actually) and you can see her inner thighs are “loose”. Don’t think you’ll be seeing her swing a tennis racket in a sleeveless top anytime soon either.

No it’s a recent thing. You can see in the before photo, her teeth are different shapes. And in the more recent photo, they are more uniform. Her new teeth look ridiculous.

Yeah, see it now. I honestly don't get the thing about going abroad especially with there being so many horror stories that come with it.

I agree they looked so happy. Thy have both had losses in their families, her younger brother died in 2022 and recently Jacks dad passed away. Grief hits people in such different ways. If it is that of course. She always comes across as very smiley and happy but at a guess high maintenance. I don’t know too much about him apart from he is an ex Brit school singer/songwriter. The wording on the announcement was strange though, saying basically it was his choice . She also posted a few weeks back a quote along the words of, let them find themselves, give them space, doesn’t mean you have to be waiting when they decide. Sounds like he has some thinking to do. If the house is on the market it sounds dd as though the decision has been made.

If his dad has recently passed away I realise he might be prompted to make life changes, at the same time he could still be in the depths of grief and maybe making a decision rashly

So sad. Martine was close to her brother, he was engaged to be married and only in his 20s. She often spoke of her pride in him. Seemed like a lovely bloke.

Haven't they always been like that? I remember seeing the Perfect Moment video and her smiling all the way through it had me thinking her teeth were a little too perfect. It was the whiter-than-white shine you only ever really saw people on American TV have at the time.

So glad I found a thread for her and I’m not the only one to notice her weightloss. However, did anyone see her on the Gordon, Gino & Fred cooking programme? I was shocked to see how much weight she had put back on since I’d last seen her on gogglebox. Not sure when it was filmed but I assumed it was fairly recent, but her latest insta posts she’s very thin again. I do hope she’s okay, my first thought was an ED

Unfortunately in celeb life and in real life when I see dramatic weight loss transformations I immediately think Ozempic. Which is an awful shame for those genuinely losing weight simply through diet and exercise

Just read somewhere it was cambridge diet she did. I had a look, and it’s a meal replacement thing. Never heard of it. I might give it a go!

Whatever happened to Martine? Last time she disappeared for this long, she reappeared with a new set of railings and about 4 dress sizes smaller. Reminded me of the early/mid 2010s when V Beckham and C Cole wouldn’t reappear for post baby appearances until all evidence of pregnancy on their bodies had completely evaporated.
