Aww that makes me a bit sad, I guess they haven't spoken in a long time. I love the dancing in the totp holiday performance šŸ˜

Way better than what she did for Eurovision at the weekend.

He wrote a book about her, which I havenā€™t read, and I heard it *displeased* her.

My second hand embarrassment for Madge is huge. Kudos for anyone who manages to keep a career in music for longer than a couple of decade but shes lately coming across as desperate to stay relevant and it's just embarassing. Her appearance with the eye patch on Graham Norton was pure cringe. I'm not saying when you reach 60 it should be twin sets and Pearl's but she needs to accept she cant dress like a 20 something any more. Have some class. Style. Not a desperate ploy to stay in the limelight.

I watched her on Graham Norton and I thought there was something seriously off with her body language and her posture but I couldn't put my finger on it.
I think she can wear what she wants because she's Madonna, tbh class was never her brand so I wouldn't expect her to gracefully age. What I can't forgive her is the absolute shite music she's been churning out for the last few years.

Not a fan I must admit. I am not sure why, just does not speak to me or appeal, not the songs.

She just needs to retire! She will always be Madonna and her music will live on. Time to hang her shoes up I think!

I don't see why she should retire? She's an absolutely huge touring artist, her most successful tours being her most recent ones in her 50s which were only out-sold by AC/DC, Rolling Stones, Guns N Roses. She fills more seats than Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry... even at age 60. No one says the men should hang their shoes up so why should she. And as someone who grew up in the 80s, the fact that Madonna is still going and we've lost George, Prince, Whitney, Pete Burns, Bowie... my absolute idols as a kid. Haven't listened to a Madonna album for 20 years but I hope she keeps going forever!

Anyone been following stories of Madonna's behaviour since the Madame X tour started? I can't believe how many shows she's cancelled and how late she is to the ones she turns up to do. Even by her already appalling standards of time keeping, it's really bad.

I used to be a big fan and have seen her live three times. I am relieved I no longer care about the work she's producing enough to continue spending time and money on her.

Feels like she has not been the same since the custody battle for Rocco even though that was years ago now. Until then she seemed like she had it together but these days she's such a sloppy mess I'm embarrassed for her.

Adding my voice to the others on here who've been fans!

I think she's had an incredible career, her True Blue album being one of the all time greatest pop albums of all time, but I've been a fan for most of the rest too.

There's only been two phases out of her three decades of hits that I couldn't stick with her. The first was around that Sex Book era when she went sleazy and eventually porny. I swear she was losing her mind at that time. Then she regained focus when she had Lola.

Then I've liked all her albums until all this stupid Madam X crap. She looks incredibly uncomfortable in that awful costume, and why on earth she insists on being interviewed in it too is anyone's guess. It's unhinged. Reminds me of when Bono adopted that stupid McPhisto persona because he felt he was going mad. In fact, it's exactly that. Like she's terrified of showing who she really is underneath the performance and needs this persona.

Now she's got yet another toy boy, perhaps she'll ground herself again. I hope so. I want to see a credible post-Madam X Madonna again. It must be pretty tough when being a popstar is literally all you can do but age wants to put a stop to it, but you don't want to stop - she's tried other things like film several times and it's been nope, nope, nope. We have ageing rockers still going, but ageing pop stars? How does that work? If she can't do it, no one will.

I think you could be right. Losing Guy then Rocco must have sent an earthquake through her psyche.

And the lateness and cancelling and walking around in great big gangsta puffa coats looking silly. And the huge gold bling and the hair in plaits. I don't know what that is supposed to be about.

Oh I hadnā€™t heard any of this. How many shows has she cancelled? Thatā€™s pretty inexcusable. I feel like this wouldā€™ve been all over the press a decade or so ago, such is the fate of the older woman especially in that industry (Iā€™m sure there are plenty of articles on it, but itā€™s clearly not a top story )
I did hear about her going over curfew at the palladium and them cutting the sound, which she referred to as being ā€œcensoredā€ on Instagram šŸ˜‚

She's cancelled quite a lot of dates, many times leaving it until only hours/minutes before a show was due to start to inform ticket buyers which is so outrageous I need a new word for it.

I think she's making a pretty good go of destroying her legacy, which is sad to see.

Yeah itā€™s well known that even if people get the price of the ticket back lots of them will have travelled long distance on trains, buses even planes and paid for accommodation etc Not to mention those poor souls who bought re sale tickets, even at face value thatā€™s at least 100 quid these days, right?

What has she said for an excuse ?

Pain due to injuries, but then she's posted pictures of herself dancing on the beach and going to parties, etc.
