I’ve seen a few adds like this on my social media. Most seem US based but this one sells in £. Has anyone tried them before? I’m not sure how they can measure your nails from a photo though.
Would love to try false nails as my nails are always breaking due to health issues

I’ve never tried made to measure stick ons but I have used plenty of drugstore stick ons and always found them to be really good! They’re also a really good price, Superdrug have a great range. I have really tiny hands/nails so you have to get the ones with a bigger selection of sizes in but I’ve never struggled with them fitting me. They’re often too long so I cut them down and if needed you can file the shape round the cuticle edge as well for a better fit but I often don’t bother!

Thank you for the reply! I’ve never tried stick ons, I’m worried because my thumb nails are a bit larger so I’m not sure they’d fit. What do you glue them on with? Maybe I should take the plunge and find a style I like and go for it ahah.

If you get the ones with a decent range of sizes, they go up BIG! like waaay too big for me so I reckon you’ll find some to fit, like I say if you’re careful you can file them to fit a bit better but I’ve never really had to! They nearly all come with nail glue, so you just basically clean and file your nails, rough up the surface and stick them on! You can get adhesive ones as well, I’ve not tried those though so can’t comment, I’ve never had any issues with the stick on ones, if you follow the instructions and are careful with them they’ll last a good week if not longer! Obviously with anything like that they’re not the best for your nails if you use them all the time, but I’ve used them to help grow out my own ones and stop them breaking and as long as you have breaks inbetween and don’t yank them off when removing them and soak them off properly then should be fine :) they’re not expensive and Superdrug nearly always have offers on….if you don’t get on with them then you’ve not wasted too much money :)

I actually had these in my drawer, just an example but you can see the range of sizes!! I never use these big ones, this set has less of a size range than others though so it can be a bit trickier matching them up, but they ll likely still look ok :)

I’d also suggest getting some nail clippers like these, they’re much easier to cut false nails with and get them even :) I’m not an nail expert at all but have always done my own nails at home as can’t afford to get them done professionally, I’d def give them a go!! As long as you follow the instructions you can’t go too far wrong!

Never tried stick on nails. Has anyone tried the nail 'wraps' such as Holy Grail? I was tempted recently and then talked myself out of buying any. I never bother painting my finger nails as they chip so quickly and don't want to spend loads of money on proper gel nails or anything. I regularly paint my toe nails as that seems to last weeks.

Yea that’s why I started teaching myself how to do gels and gel extensions at home, no matter what nail polish I used it chipped almost straightaway or within 24 hours and it used to piss me off so much! Even with top coating it didn’t always make much difference! I’ve been doing the mylee gel nails myself at home now for a few months and literally do not budge, I only change them because I get bored of the colour or they grow out really, I am careful to give me nails a break tho as I know they re not the best but honestly they’re a godsend! Takes time to do them and remove them properly for me as I’m still learning but saves me so much time in the longer term not having to keep redoing them!

This is interesting. I spend a lot of money getting my nails done! I have really small hands, so using press-on nails is really difficult for me, so's trimming them. I love having painted nails. I'd never heard of made-to-measure nails like this before! Now I need to go buy some.

Oneminutemani on Instagram does made to measure nails. She tells you how to measure and you send her your sizes. I’ve had them off her and they fit perfect and we’re really nice. Have a look at her page she does any design
