Thank you for the reply! I’ve never tried stick ons, I’m worried because my thumb nails are a bit larger so I’m not sure they’d fit. What do you glue them on with? Maybe I should take the plunge and find a style I like and go for it ahah.
If you get the ones with a decent range of sizes, they go up BIG! like waaay too big for me so I reckon you’ll find some to fit, like I say if you’re careful you can file them to fit a bit better but I’ve never really had to! They nearly all come with nail glue, so you just basically clean and file your nails, rough up the surface and stick them on! You can get adhesive ones as well, I’ve not tried those though so can’t comment, I’ve never had any issues with the stick on ones, if you follow the instructions and are careful with them they’ll last a good week if not longer! Obviously with anything like that they’re not the best for your nails if you use them all the time, but I’ve used them to help grow out my own ones and stop them breaking and as long as you have breaks inbetween and don’t yank them off when removing them and soak them off properly then should be fine

they’re not expensive and Superdrug nearly always have offers on….if you don’t get on with them then you’ve not wasted too much money

I actually had these in my drawer, just an example but you can see the range of sizes!! I never use these big ones, this set has less of a size range than others though so it can be a bit trickier matching them up, but they ll likely still look ok

I’d also suggest getting some nail clippers like these, they’re much easier to cut false nails with and get them even

I’m not an nail expert at all but have always done my own nails at home as can’t afford to get them done professionally, I’d def give them a go!! As long as you follow the instructions you can’t go too far wrong!
