New thread lovelies.
Continue here.

We HATED the look of the old thread so we’ve redecorated,
We’re selling off the old thread on Instagram stories. A few cat scratches (Probably lynx, definitely not fan fav Lumi!) some cat piss, some foundation stains, some fake tan, some #gifted gin stains, but aside from that it’s perfect!!

Hurry over because it won’t be available for long and as we’ve said before just because you say you want it doesn’t make it yours..

That only works on Twitter for certain Lux influencers, it doesn’t work for you peasants.

*Annoying af giggle*

Rant alert from Claire, what's your thougths?
(Posting it here because it's relevant for Lydia aswell, imo)
These dickheads blow my mind with their stupidity, self centred, self righteous crap! Instagram is NOT here just for influenzers! It’s a social platform for socialising! Be better if they banned the influencers from it & it went back to what it used to be like. Instagram needs to charge every influenzer to use Instagram. They use it as a free service to make money and that’s not right. They should be charged to have their pathetic ‘influencer’ instagrams, charged per post, charged more for a larger following, basically charged for every move! No more freeloading. Influenzers contribute nothing to Instagram so why should they be allowed to use & abuse the site for their own agenda and gains! Same goes for brands using it to sell their shit.

They aren’t dedicating hours and hours plus years at university to coding or developing and constantly improving the app/website. They contribute NOTHING. Claire horse teeth is the worst. She should just shut up and go back to her ugly house & stop bloody wingeing. She’s such a vile arsehole. Another sack of shit who thinks you only matter if you have designer bags and money. There’s something seriously wrong with these shallow arseholes and their view of what’s important in life.

Surprise surprise her boot area is gifted. How many times did she beg on stories to get that? She is so predictable that it’s not even fun when we’re proven right anymore.

Ugh, I knew she would get it for free in the end. I remember all the begs on her insta home account and she even mentioned it a few times in her vlogs saying they would love to get it done 'but it was sooooooo expensive, they couldn't afford it'. At the time I called bullshit, because it's a very small area and wouldn't be that expensive at all - how can someone who forks out £4k for a handbag claim they can't afford to get a joiner in for a week to make a small boot area? She just wanted it for free. And why does she keep calling it a boot room. No, Lydia, you don't have a boot room in an old period property, you have a back hallway in a bungalow!!

We did our whole boot room, (working boot room in a farmhouse) which is about the size of her kitchen, with build in cupboards, shelving for boots, seating bench, coat hangers, storage etc and it didn't cost too much and she would need 1/4 of the materials we used. It's disgusting how she doesn't put her hand in her pocket for anything!! She would be the friend you go out with and accepts drinks from everyone all night, but when I comes to her round, she's nowhere to be seen....

I was shopping at Selfridges yesterday and as I mentioned before, I couldn't find myself amazed by all these luxury products anymore. Gone are the days when only the best of celebrities wore certain things... Now, even the tackiest people can purchase and wear all these designer clothes- worst of all, designers give the products away. Another bad thing is, because I wasn't in head to toe designer yesterday, the sales assistants couldn't be bothered to even serve me so I walked away so many concessions because they were all busy talking.
Now, if it was Lydia Elise Millen who walked into those concessions, I'm sure they would be all over her. Maybe I'm wrong in that assumption?
With all her designer pieces, they would think that she has money to spend but they don't know that's all given to her. Everything in her life is gifted and yet you would notice that these influencers walk around and carry themselves with a huuuge sense of importance because they have designer items.
I think the fact that Lydia is still in denial and stubborn about declaring products says it all. I wonder how she conducts meetings with brands. Without transparency, she loses credibility. I would much rather watch someone who is honest. I think more and more women are going to see the true Lydia Elise Millen Gordon.

‘Luxury’ (I use the term loosely) brands aren’t worth it. Yes there are some items that are hand made but once u learn the truth of how cheaply most are made, how disgusting they are with their use of animals and poorly paid staff, so on, and yeah now we know they gift so much away to nobodies etc we are all seeing how our money is better spent elsewhere. Not many of those brands are impressive anymore (like seeing everyone with a LV bag, Gucci belt, Hermes belt, etc) and almost all are marked up hundreds of percent more than the cost to produce it.

Influenzers have cheapened all the luxury brands. There’s no way I’d give my money to a $4000 bag when someone else got it for free just because they have a following on social media.

There are genuine, good quality small brands in accessories, clothing, skincare, beauty, haircare, footwear etc that are much better to invest in. And better quality.

Look at La Mer. Cheap nasty ingredients with a ‘mystery’ ingredient from the sea that has zero proof of what it is and zero proof that it does anything. Main ingredients include mineral oil which is cheap & made from petroleum. It’s all marketing & branding themselves as luxury. People fall for the bullshit. It used to be celebrities like Jennifer Lopez and lots of others who swore by la mer BUT they were paid to say they used it and given it for free.

Look at hope smith. A model who married a billionaire and was told to use la mer everyday to prevent stretch marks. She researched the ingredients & discovered how they are nasty and didn’t want to use them while pregnant and has now gone on to having create an all natural, nourishing body balm & oil.

Luxury brands that sell to the general public are all advertising and creating this perception that you’re better if you own it. But it’s all bullshit. The real luxury items aren’t sold in shops, they are presented to the private shoppers of millionaires & billionaires.

When lidl is walking around wearing a $1,000,000 watch, with a multi million dollar car collection, living in a $20,000,000+ mansion with staff, kids in elite private schools, dripping in rare jewels, vacationing all over the world in private locations (paid for by herself), travelling by first class or private jet everywhere (once again her footing the bill), maybe then I’ll buy her whole ‘luxury’ wishful thinking.

In Lydia’s world this would be her response if you said that to her.

That mirror is perfectly placed, I’ve got an eye for design you know. What do plebs who don’t know design know about how high a mirror should be hung. Have dare plebs have an opinion that isn’t telling me how amazing I am and how much I’ve achieved by filling my house with PR products. It’s such hard work contacting brands and begging and trying to get them to send the best of what they have for free and then these people on the internet have the audacity to question me.

I’m going to have to lie down and take a break now as that comment about the mirror is trolling and bullying and I am a very sensitive soul. Might have to take a week away from all my social media (obviously if I need anything I will need to come online and beg but that doesn’t count)
The mirror has to be so low as to allow the Millen-Gordons to see themselves because they are both so short 😂 😂

I woke up stressed this morning and I need to vent.

Lydia was putting her tree up this week,

but “Frowhome” (I die inside every time I type that) have not yet put their tree up.
How is she going to know what Victoria’s tree is like 😨 how is she going to copy or try and do one better.
DO YOU FEEL ME 🥵

Will she decide to redecorate on the 15th and do a completely different tree for the second half on the festive period 🤔

no wonder she’s stressed, it’s quite hard when you’re copying others style because you don’t have one yourself.

She does this all the time... complains about things being too expensive then magically it appears.

In that post about her ugly, over crowded sitting area she refers to waiting to hear back on the upholstery. What is she waiting to hear about? She hasn’t ordered the barstools, it’s too hard. What’s so hard? Has she forgotten how to add to basket and type in her credit card details?

It’s all just Lydia speak for “begging process in motion, waiting to see if someone bites”. She is actually disgusting, tighter than a fishes arse.

It’s so obvious when reading her lengthy posts about the things she wants. It’s essentially her wish lists for brands to pick up on.

How about you take that natural instinct you think you have for interior design and take us shopping. Explain to us what you’re picking and why. Then walk over to the counter like a big girl, pull out your wallet and show us how they ring it up and how you pay for it. Now that would be something!

FANFREAKINTASTIC INTRO 😍

yes yes yes to this. You never see her out shopping and actually paying for anything. It all just arrives in boxes from Neptune, Ocre, H&M, Sofa.com etc...... The bar stools, I noticed that too - 'just in talks with' I believe was the phrase - she knows the ones she wants, just buy them if you're SO impatient, but no, she'll hang on and see what deal she can get.

This is why the fire pit area in the garden never got done this year and the fire escape area (sorry, outside courtyard) is still as it is. She's begged numerous times saying exactly what she wants doing, even been super helpful and put up little mood boards, but alas, no-one has bitten, so it's never been done.

She keeps saying she doesn't want a garage for the cars but I'll bet my own house on it, that if someone offered to build her one for free, all of a sudden it's what she's always dreamed of and happily accepts!

When they moved there she said that apart from painting a few rooms, they would do very little in terms of renovation because they viewed the house and loved it as it was, else they wouldn't have bought it. Then all of a sudden she sees how much free stuff companies are willing to chuck at her and she becomes this greedy, grabby, spoilt brat.

When you came here for Lydl gossip but left wanting to see BeccaBanna's boot room..
Haha! I'd happily share my home instagram but would probably be hunted down and lynched by all the LEMmings!!

After YEARS of gratis salon services, instead of just paying Despina for her services like any decent person would, Lydia chooses to drive an hour and a half to Birmingham to get her hair done for free.

Well done Despina for ridding this parasite from your life. Lydia truly is a dreadful woman.

It’s so strange how this world, society, rewards fuckwits, airheads, criminals, evil, soulless sacks of shit, dickheads that sit adoring themselves on a shitty camera talking shit and lies. They offer nothing of worth. And they got it all for nothing. No effort, no studies, no work. It’s disgusting. If lidl is getting paid that much money then the brands doing so and those signing off on it need to be shot.

I wonder if the fact she uses so many products on top of each other is a reason it’s so bad. Because her skin does look worse and it’s ALWAYS been bad.

I know if I use 2 acids at the same time my face freaks the fuck out.

she literally puts anything she’s sent onto her skin (once it’s expensive and she doesn’t have to pay for it [emoji2368])

edit (what @Vampy5555 said [emoji3059])

I

I stay away from retinol because of influencers that look like Lydia, no lie.
But I *think* I’ve found what works for me so I ignore the magic creams they try and flog every other week.
I’m in Australia and recommend & use the o cosmedics range if anyone is after quality skincare. U can purchase it online ( https://www.inskincosmedics.com.au/shop/o-cosmedics ) but it’s best to go to a skin therapist that can advise which products you need. I personally stick to their potent retinol serum for my retinol (it’s a 0.5% but I prefer slow and steady with zero irritation than hard & fast and irritation) and it gives AMAZING results! Their brightening serum also produces wonderful results for skin clarity, exfoliation and pigmentation.
There are also other quality products/brands and as a rule a professional cosmeceutical brand with actives is the way to go.

Lidl is bad for brands. For example the alpha h liquid gold. She basically advertised it to be used as a toner. Big mistake. It is only to be used 1-2 times per week if your skin has good results from it. U apply it after cleansing & then u wait until your skin is touch dry and then you can either apply a serum & moisturiser or leave it as is for a deeper exfoliating effect. If your skins barrier is already compromised, forget it. You will just cause further damage and your skin will freak out with heat, redness, flaking, flushing, a burning stinging feeling, and ultimately you will create more uneven skin and breakouts as your body desperately tries to repair the skins barrier and will send the message to your sebaceous glands to pump out more sebum (oil). And you aren’t meant to use it on the nights you use retinol. You can of course if you have no adverse effects from it but it’s best to do on different nights to avoid stripping the skin.

Same as foaming cleansers. Unless you have a genuine oily skin and/or live in a humid environment you’re better off with a cream cleanser suited to your skin type, massaged in 1-3 minutes then removed with a damp face washer, skin shammy etc. (you’ll be amazed at how this alone can improve your skin).

Another fabulous brand (though not used in salons per say) is the edible beauty skincare range. Bloody amazing results from that brand. It’s developed completely by a qualified naturopath and honestly will change and repair your skin. www.ediblebeauty.com.au

One of my biggest pet peeves in the world of skincare is la mer. Did you know they’ve never proven nor backed up their claims with actual scientific proven data/results. They’ve also never disclosed what their magical (their excuse for the enormous price tag they’ve attached to their products) ingredient from the sea that apparently is the bees knees in theeir products. If u actually read and google the ingredients you’ll see it’s full of crap and mostly mineral oil (made from petrochemicals) and fragrance with a stack of preservatives.
But doesn’t matter as most people swear their skin is better (mineral oil CAN work with some skin types) and they think it’s impressive to own it. It’s a waste of money. There are so many quality, result producing brands out there that don’t rip you off blindly. It’s like byterry. They decided in the beginning to be a ‘luxury’ brand so straight off the mark they charge big prices. That coupled with advertising & marketing and consumers blindly believe well if it’s expensive it’s luxury and better.
It’s all marketing.

Sorry I should stop now or I’ll be writing essays as I am skin obsessed and could talk about it and products forever!! [emoji171][emoji171][emoji171]

Sometimes when I'm washing up dishes and stuff, I start to think about life in general and how the world works.
I can't help but feel quite sad about life... not meaning to be depressing...
I have a good life and I think I'm content- I guess humans can never fully be content but I'm happy with what I have
but I often think of these Youtubers (the big time ones who fool thousands with their fake lifestyle)
By the way, I do love small Youtubers- the ones with the small following because they seem more authentic...
I think about people like Lydia and truly watch in disbelief how they get away with the amount of stuff they get away with.
I see people all over the world as equals and none of us is perfect...I'm not the type to worship celebrities or anyone.
But the way these individuals work is just shocking... They lie, they cheat, they moan and there seems to be no repercussions. I feel like when will the time come when people will see through the corruption, the fakeness of it all.
How, there are people homeless in the streets and there's people like Lydia complaining about IG likes being removed.
I don't mean to be a virtue signalling saint but I just feel like that's what saddens me the most.
I feel like people who are corrupt are rewarded.
People like Lydia can fake a lifestyle and they are rewarded
But brands don't give bonuses to those store clerks who are out there on their feet selling these designer goods. Most earn minimum wage.
How about treating their staff well first before gifting a load of stuff to lazy Youtubers?
I don't know...
Maybe I'm just wishful thinking and I guess life is not fair...
I just wonder if this is why people turn evil in the end and prefer to be corrupted. It seems that in this world, they are often rewarded.
My mother always tells me though... Karma... It's real and that there's a time for everyone.
