I’m sure way back in the guru gossip days she had people approach Darcy calling her by name when Darcy was out with someone. This is why I think family blogging is so dangerous. Darcy might not be a celebrity, but she is arguably far more exposed than a celebrity.

Yep, Darcy is getting to the age where in the next couple of years she might start going out with friends without their parents and what happens if a situation like that occurs and there’s no parent with the children? All because Louise has plastered darcy’s face to her couple of million followers?

She’s really clinging on to this ‘dance mom’ title. She’s now writing a blog post about it. I don’t even understand what she thinks she needs to say about it. Your child has a hobby and goes to classes like millions of other children it’s not some special secret that you need to write about.

So to be clear, she has issues surrounding her dad pressuring her to be super productive and high achieving during childhood but then enters Darcy into a similar environment ohhhkay
A dance mom is a mom brings around a kid to travel all over the place to make a name for themselves and win.. shes not a dance mom
This is so weird. I went to specialist music school (so like royal ballet school but music) and my parents never spoke about themselves like this. Just be a parent, your child’s hobbies really shouldn’t define you.
I agree. Darcy going to dance class has no impact on louises life other than having to drop her off and pick her up. It’s not like Louise dances herself and is teaching Darcy or anything crazy or I could even understand it if Darcy was dancing professionally or preforming maybe she could say something about taking her round the country to preform or anything like that.
But it’s literally just a dance class at the moment
