Not when you get Botox for free like Louise doesFringe is cheaper than botox.
This is what I meant about her regretting it, not the look of it but the maintenance. In the most recent grid post it looks like she has a cows lick at her parting which I do too and I could not be doing with keeping that under control every day. I’d love one of those thick split-in-the-middle fringes like Jameela Jamil (can’t stand her but have to admit she has lovely hair) but it would cease to look good on me the minute I’d walk out of the hairdressersI actually love the fringe. Would it be a pain to maintain though??
Just had to add, I went to see a dietician recently. I have been diagnosed with underactive thyroid and thought I would invest in seeing a professional and getting some expert advice. Tbh I should have given the 100e to my junior cert home ec daughter. The food pyramid, which I thought was gone out with the flood and BMI which has also been shown not to be the be all and end all of health were both mentioned non stop. Pure waste of money and made me despair for anyone struggling with their weight and looking for professional advice.I never really gave this whole issue much thought until I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes.
I was a size 10 when I got pregnant but because I was over 40, I was booked in for a glucose tolerance test at 28 weeks based on my age alone.
Went in that morning and did the test and got a call from a midwife that evening to say I had gestational diabetes and booked me in to see a dietitian the following week.
She was SO snotty with me on the phone, eg I asked ok well what do I need to do between now and the dietitian appointment and she actually said "well lay off the Mars bars now".
As it happened, I had a routine midwife visit the following day, and as it happened it was the same midwife who had called me the evening before. She calls me in and was like a different person, nice as pie and says oh god love you, you're having an awful time of it with the diabetes, "and you're not big at all".
I'm assuming the implication there was that if I was overweight it would have been my own fault.
I'm often sorry I didn't speak up at the time and pull her up on it.
Yep she’s renting, like why would you get new floors if you are renting. Of course she’s putting it out there like with the paint hoping to get a freebie. No doubt she’ll be gifted new floors.OK so I'm really confused.
Does she own that house or not?
Because she's just got the whole place repainted and now she's saying "omg I hate my floors I'm going to get a quote to do the floors"
I thought she was renting it???
Must be nice to be her landlord!Yep she’s renting, like why would you get new floors if you are renting. Of course she’s putting it out there like with the paint hoping to get a freebie. No doubt she’ll be gifted new floors.
Really sorry to hear you had this experience, and at the cost of €100.Just had to add, I went to see a dietician recently. YES to this.To be honest it s win win on getting the house made over isn’t it? Neither she nor the Landlord are paying for anything. Why not? Perfect remedy. People who rent do get to live in nice homes too.
