I think Hassan will win the women’s race but predicting Eilish McColgan will be in the top 3.

Looks like it’ll be a warm day.

I’ve been watching! Was routing for Hassan but it’s a hot day and they went off so quick. Eilish is doing a fabulous job for her first marathon.

I know a few people running today, I’m aiming for 2028 if (was going to be 2027 but my brother decided to get married ). Have entered the ballot for the past 3 years and never been successful though.

the amount of people finishing with injuries and those poor people in fancy dress in this heat are nuts I’m out with shin splints and knee pain and I was only on my second week of couch 2 5k

oh i’ll have to try and find the footage of that! the interview they did before they started when they asked about him being nervous to run 26 miles and he said “for my girl i would do 50”

Heartbreaking, and the mum said her little girl would have had a list of shopping to do, once the race was over. Absolutely heartbreaking.
