I’d be surprised if she didn’t keep a wide range, especially when you think of the velvets, baumes. She wants the case to be special, which I think it would lose a bit of if it was the only way to purchase.

Of course, there’s nothing to stop someone just buying lipstick as a refill and not using the case but it doesn’t look travel-friendly like that.

As an emerald I have to agree, that I am always regretting the early purchase one day prior to release without proper information and videos and swatches and would choose a different shade or refill - when I asked about possible changes, well, it was too late as the “order was ready” - being in EU I am still waiting for the delivery though. Anyway, won’t be never ever again an early buyer.

I know I’m just in an echo chamber now but it really is disappointing.

@Duee I agree, the benefit of being able to purchase early seems to be solely for the company bank accounts with no real perk for the customer.

How can she say it’s an ‘item to pass onto the next generation’, unless she guarantees than production of the refills will continue after the passing of the original purchaser, and by extension herself?

Well I’ve seen 2 YouTube videos from “influencers” who were on the train. They had zero information and were obviously just done because they had to.
Those who are not on the PR list did much more informative videos.
Lisa, in the unlikely event that you or your employees are reading here - don’t waste time and money with the big influencers - it grinds your customers gears seeing how entitled and ungrateful they are - reach out to the smaller channels who aren’t just in it for the money or publicity.
Hiring that train would’ve cost a fortune - using that money to reward your loyal customers would have been a better way to spend that money.

I wonder how many influencers were on the train in total?

An influencer I watched a review from flew in from the USA for the junket, so maybe there were a few international influencers there too. It'd be interesting to know if flights/accommodation were part of the "experience".

All in the name of “recyclability”

I saw one from the North of Scotland and one from Paris who were there. The former is further than the latter.

I bought Medici and I’m very happy with the shade. For comparison purposes here it is (top swatch) with Bobbi Brown Bahama Brown. Lisa’s a bit pinker and lighter if you like the shade but don’t want to spend as much.

So true.

I'm always amazed how brands don't take care of their very keenest buyers - those are the ones who are most dedicated after all.

Instead it's the influencers - who frankly, couldn't give less of a toss - who they pander to. Nuts.

An influencer from LA who went on the Lisa PR train uploaded a 30 minute vlog on YouTube.
There was ONE minute of the train footage and a further 1-2 minutes after of her talking about the new lipsticks but no swatches, photos, etc. So she was worth inviting then!

I don’t mind influencers because I have been influenced by people to buy things be it from instagram, YouTube, adverts - we all have. What annoys me is influencers who don’t put any effort into what they are doing - main culprit being no swatches!

I really don’t know why Lisa even needs these people, her videos show all swatches on different tones and she sells the product herself, and the products sell themselves because they perform well and look great.

Have you received your products yet?
I’m looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

Went to Selfridges today to look at the new lippies. Wanted to go to Liberty but a friend went on Tuesday and they won't be selling them until November.

Only one counter assistant and lots of people waiting so I couldn't wait until I could be served. Could only see 6 of the 8 shades and want to get their opinion on which shade will suit me best. Ashes of Roses looks nice. TBH I'm not sure I want to splash the cash at the moment as got too many others which I'm happy with.

Will be interested in feedback. My gf got Lisa and likes how it feels.

Hi!

I love the lipstick case, it’s heavy and luxe and I had to have it initialled because well…

Here is Lisa straight out of the bullet, no liner. I love it! I’d say the texture more like the luxuriously Lucent than the velvets. Super glidy and good coverage for one swipe. No editing and taken by a window on this overcast day.

Love the ground coffee pencil on my brown eyes. I thought it would be a bit meh but it’s a blacky brown not a warm brown which makes me look tired.

Chocolate cherry bag gorgeous!

(I have on the T6 tint in the photo to give context. I have a light/medium neutral cool skin tone

Thank you.
That looks like a very wearable colour.
Do you think it has a blurring effect?

I think someone on here said that they wish the lipstick came in a little velvet pouch to protect it in their handbag. That would be the icing on the cake.

I wore my Skin Tint for the first time in a while yesterday (I’m trying to use up my other foundations first) and I’d forgotten how lovely it is. My skin looks so much better with this than full coverage foundation.

Has anyone tried Elevated Glow please, particularly Pink Moon? Thanks.

OT - I mentioned this on Hirons thread but she was also a regular poster on this thread, so @JaneRev if you’re reading I hope you are well. I know you were having surgery so you may still be recovering but I know it’s not like you to miss a LE launch so I’m a little concerned. Wishing you well xx
