Thanks to @stinkytink for the last minute thread title! Apologies to anyone who might have submitted a thread title - I looked through six pages of most liked posts and couldn't find anything!

The thread title pretty much sums everything up! Lily has absolutely annihilated her hair to the point where it might be past saving. Meanwhile, BFF (Lol!) Anna has announced her pregnancy, which means Lily really has to get working on inevitable baby number two. Naturally, Lily knew about Anna's pregnancy before she was actually pregnant. She is a mum, you know? When Anna told Lily she had conceived on her very first try, Lily replied: Nailed it!

Anything else to add to the recap? I'm drawing a blank! Add it in comments.

I'm not a curly hair expert but I don't think you're supposed to drag the product down through the curl and pull on your hair? I also don't think she understands CGM at all. I agree with a lot of video commenters literally begging her to braid her hair or twist it into a low bun while she works on getting her curls back. A lot to unpack in the video, guys

Sorry, just adding my comments about the hair. Why is she so bothered about HAIR?
I mean for someone that young, " cool", " edgy " with tattoos and not your typical girl and being from London, what is wrong with a pixi cut and start a new hair journey? she needs a good chop! she will probably gain more followers and then could do a serie of videos about a change of looks or beg new clothes. Our Lily needs to grow up and meet people outside of her family bubble. The thing is nobody cares about her hair, especially in 2020/ 2021 pandemics era. in London people are soooooo busy to stop and think about HER hair. In addition, being generally so rude she might get sympathy from followers or other youtubers after her chop.
Her baby has nothing to do about her hair, it drives me nuts. Also, super obvious that Rich is doing most of the parenting.
I really hope she reads here as she seems to be suffering so much about " hair"

Curly girl isn’t hard. I’ve started the process in lockdown and everyone else has done the hard work for you making lists of the products that are ‘approved’. Lily’s problem is that she wants to be able to stick everything she is sent straight on her hair, perfect example with the Ouai products in the video. She makes the most half-hearted attempt to glance at the ingredient list, then gives up and tries it anyway and wonders why her hair is still in a state she’s not happy with.

Watching her attempt to do whatever she was trying to do with her hair was painful.

It is so blatantly clear she hasn’t researched CGM or looking after curls at all.

Someone pointed out before, and I think is so valid. I cannot remember who.
Lily doesn’t want to embrace her curl, she just want her hair to grow out so she can go back to straighten and receive all the freebies colouring she gets

Yes from the video I also got the impression that he does most of the parenting I could be wrong but Lily seems ackward around her own daughter especially in the “do you still love mummy” part

Like a few others, I literally watched the first 5/6 minutes of the vlog and it’s bleeping painful. Her eyebrows look ridiculous, and she is such a Debby downer about her hair that I have no idea why Vauxhall would approve the content for their ad.

She is so governed by other people’s opinions of her, but I don’t feel much sympathy as she’s clearly not interested in changing at all.

Just posting this here in case anyone needs a reminder of what Lily’s hair looks like at the moment.

Lily doesn’t want to try to look after her hair because that would be too much effort and she just wants it to be straight, so she loads it up with (free) products not suited to her hair, scrapes it back like this when wet and blasts it with heat. Look at her roots desperately trying to form curls. I do feel sorry that she hates herself so much because of her hair but she’s isn’t helping it at all.

I personally would go to someone who really understands curly hair and get it cut short and wear wigs until its sorted. Curly or straightened she needs to change it. She would benedit from side parting it too in the shower i think when she washes it.

She must be panicking now, as this new approach to her hair is still going to do absolutely nothing in the long term. She’s just delaying the inevitable

Cut the dead blonde balayage off, embrace your short hair and texture, let your hair grow out healthy. Simple.

I don’t normally watch Lily’s vlogs but I took a look following all the comments on here about her hair. I have to admit I was pretty 😯 seeing it. She must have really damaged her hair to make the ends so lifeless and straight and now the roots are coming through curly. It’s going to take some real resolve to let it grow so she has some healthy hair to work with. I didn’t understand her approach either, like adding all that product to it and then saying she needed to wash it. I’m not surprised with all that gunk in her hair!
I think it’s another example of not accepting change. Most people know post partum hair loss and thinning is a thing. She should have been much more careful and gentle with her hair. In lockdown she could have laid off the treatments and just tied her hair in a bun. She only works two days a week so why all the straightening?!
I actually think she should consider a wig, to allow her hair to grow out. I’ve seen a few influencers do this when their hair got damaged from heat, extensions or something else. She probably needs to see a hair specialist who could tell her what vitamins to help as well. What a mess.

I thought Grey said 'no' at first when asked if she still loved Lily. I know she said yes to Rich right away.

She was actually putting far too much product in it for such short hair. Was making me cringe.
Her hair in the old days looked like soggy noodles when it was curly, imo.

This is such a good point: she's never actually had "good" curls because she used to just drown them in gel so they were curly yet flat to her head. She has no imagination so doesn't realise that CGM (and laying off the bleach) wouldn't bring her back to that shitshow: done right, it'd bring her to a place of lovely, glossy, bouncy curls with actual height and volume!
