First episode was excellent. Was very worried it was going to go into svu territory and be too obsessed with the detectives private lives. Always liked detective Bernard-he is a bit of a goody goody. The new detective is ok-very Chris Noth in the early seasons. Would have loved to see Green back with Bernard-they would have been good together. The new chief is good, I like the actress in other things, but Van Burens shoes are big ones to fill. They have tried to get the new ADAs to emulate the last ones, not sure on them yet ether. Jack McCoy pops up to do wisdom, though he is so old now-is it believable that the DA is in his late seventies/eighties. Would like him replaced by Cutter. Lovey to see Jamie Ross as well.
