Wouldn't surprise me if she's putting breadcrumbs out, then will say somethings happened and she's had to flee the property and she's too scared to go back and would rather be in the box room that that house.

I think now she doesn't want to stay there. Possibly cos of her sisters and she went and got a house without a pool. It's roasting in the summer and will likely be freezing in the winter.
