Hi all,

I have eyelash extensions and was just wondering can anyone a good lash shampoo for them,

I've had a look at loads of diff brans but I'm rubbish with stuff like this and don't want to end up buying one which will make the extensions fall out,

Also any other tips on how to keep them looking good? I get them done every 2.5/3 weeks but a bit of a newbie when it comes to lash extensions as I only really started getting in August and now I couldn't be without them. I never really was blessed with long lashes naturally nor have I ever had the patience or ability to put strip lashes on.

All advice would be appreciated x x

I get lash extensions too! I don’t have a specific eyelash shampoo that I use but I do make sure to use a gentle cleanser on/around them like bioderma micellar water and also use a gentle cleanser in the shower. I do still use an oil based make up remover as part of double cleanse but make sure it doesn’t get near my lashes! As long as you brush them daily (gently) and avoid oil based products on them and no mascara at all they will be fine

I've had lash extensions for over 7 years. I go 3-4 weeks between infills although sometimes I could go longer.

I don't bother buying all the expensive lash shampoos! Buy a foaming pump bottle off amazon, get some johnsons baby shampoo and water in there. That's all you need! I use a soft brush to apply the shampoo mix, then I brush through with a lash spooly. I then get a dry lash spooly and put my hairdryer on the cold setting to dry them and keep them fluffy!

I wash my lashes about twice a week, sometimes more, sometimes less depending on how grubby I think they are. I don't wear any makeup round my eyes though so tbh they don't really get dirty!

Brush them daily, avoid any oil based products near them at all! try not to get them wet in the bath/shower and if you do then dry them as above with the cold setting on the hairdryer and they'll be fine!

Does your lash salon not offer to do a ‘lash bath’?
I don't think so unfortunately

Thank you, I will get some of that

Yeah there were quite a few on amazon and they have hit and miss reviews.

I will buy a foaming pump and some Johnsons shampoo, would you do half shampoo and half water in the pump bottle?

Also going to get the bioderma micellar water for around the eye area.

Thank you

I put a small amount of shampoo in the bottle, maybe 1cm at the bottom of the bottle then the rest water

Oh also! On the days you have your infills, try not to get them wet at all for 24 hours. That even includes steam so if you have a bath try not to have it too hot as the steam can affect retention apparently!

Is it just a regular size pump bottle you use or one of the smaller ones? Sorry for being thick,

Thanks so much. I just want to try and keep them as nice as I can as when I went for my infills on Saturday I had about 2 lashes left
