I posted a whole load of opinions as "dowotuwant" and my account got banned for spam, even though I didn't, obviously. Wasn't able to create a new one for a day or so... can you send me info on this as well? I'm very curious as to who "Layla" actually is now...

But anyway, as I was saying yesterday before it got rudely deleted, I can't stand the way she panhandles every single day, and that opinion is made even stronger by the fact she's able to afford this package holiday and sit on a 150k deposit for a house... I was wondering if the 150k deposit was actually just a smaller deposit and she's being loaned 150k? But who knows, either way, she's not as hard done by as she's been making out.

It really annoys me how there are people out there who think it's other peoples responsibility to pay for them to live their dreams, giving up your job to do what you want and panhandling your way through it does not equate to success, it means you're lazy and think other people should pick up the bill. Most normal people would work hard and build up enough income doing what they love before giving up their normal day job, anyone of sane mind anyway... so to reiterate, expecting people to give you money every month for giving agony aunt advice is ridiculous.

Another thing I said was about the anonymity of it, if she's expecting people to take her seriously as a "professional counsellor and sexual health counsellor" or whatever she's calling herself at the moment... she needs to life the lid on this thing. Any Sally from South End can say they've got certifcates in xyz, but you do need to prove it... especially if you're asking for money for a service.

She says she's not arsed about what people are saying yet she keeps randomly bringing it up on her stories, mhmm, okay love.

People have even started cancelling their patreon subscriptions because of this, what does that tell you? Rumbled.

Tired and wired you wrote

I said I would contact the lawyer today to see if she is at work to confirm, lo and behold this morning the person’s accounts have been deleted. I’ll post screen shots of all this later.

I thought you meant the lawyer.

1up the person in the video with a white son is definitely her. The person in the picture is the same person in the video (I have only seen one pic).
I dont know about the lawyer. Same name and looks like her. Would explain the 150k but I cant say thats definitely her. I don't know.

But yes if sitting on 150k like I said why cant she invest in her business rather than begging £2 a month.

She's a culture vulture.

Lol, how bizarre. Honestly though, why would anyone lie about NOT being a solicitor? Layla has mentioned her work history a number of times. That said (and I mean no malice in saying this), she does not come across as someone with a professional background who has the specialist knowledge in all the areas she claims to; so I agree that while she is still "anonymous" it could be perceived by some that she is preying on vulnerable people with no real transparency.

Also to be fair to the person who deleted their account, they didn't say she WAS a solicitor, but rather that they were not sure and she LOOKED like one. But erm...investigating strangers on social media...no thanks. She's not running a charity with public funds, and you don't have to subscribe to her services.

I get the whole 150k thing, but there is also possibily a layer of embellishment in some of the things she says. Her daily funny anecdotes from her son for example. Honestly, I believe some of that is made up. I think she is pushing for content, and she knows she has to get in where she fits in, hence her association with random influencers even if they don't do her brand's message any favours.

It's all a bit mental isn't it?
You can't expect people to pay for you to "live your dream" that's total bullshit.
Yes, people have made money through social media but that's through being intelligent, monetising videos and taking advertising... not by expecting people to subscribe to the things they'd been getting for free prior to patreon?

Also, she says that patreon members get priority on the insta lives, yet she seems to pick and choose when she does them. This is the business you run now, allegedly, and you're choosing to let down people who are paying for your service over letting your little boy stay up a bit later? Ha... ok. Prioritie hey? If you can't do the live, don't take questions and plan to do one. The organisation of that is terrible.
And she's taking less and less questions I've noticed too... hmmm, priority or only taking patron's questions? But promises people who don't pay aren't being left behind... okay, yeah.

Yes she clearly is totally thin-skinned, because everytime someone disagrees with her she has to "clapback", and invite her followers to share her opinion so she feels reassured in her position. This thread was under the radar until she mentioned it, which caused people to flock here with their thoughts and ultimately start to probe into her personal life.

The phrase "what you feed will grow", springs to mind.

I don't think she knows what she is doing with her platform. I tuned into her first live, and thought it was a great idea at the time, bringing women together to support and advise one another. But turning that group into paying customers was never going to be an easy task. The Patreon thing is a waste of money (IMO). Who on earth needs an hour monthly phone call, which consists of basic common sense and a disclaimer that basically says "I am not giving professional advice"? If you can afford the higher tiers £35-£50 etc. you should have your head screwed on enough to access whatever professional service you actually need. Then you are also subscribing to have your name featured in a book that has an unknown date of publication (will she be anon for that?), and events that have not even been thought of.

I wish her the best, but she really hasn't thought things through. Maybe securing her own slot on a radio show, as a step up to what she has now would be a better goal to work towards. And obtaining an agent.

She's gone about it in the completely wrong way, she's tried to run a marathon before she can even walk...
You might have a following on instagram but it doesn't mean people want to pay to support you, what you do isn't THAT good, and if you have to keep reiterating that people shouldn't actually take your advice (so you're covering your back) then perhaps you shouldn't be giving it.

I've made some pretty good mates from the instalives but it's really getting to me that it's all gone a bit tit now she's asking for money for it.

Asking for money then talking about her holiday in the same breath.
It says 222 patrons so she's making at least £444 a month from her lies.

No way...

Oh, and a little FYI, simply saying you're not allowed to sue me because I told you I'm not a professional on your patreon (which I've just read in full) doesn't protect you from anyone suing you... especially when it comes to data protection breaches, so I don't know why she's put that on there...

I can't imagine she's going to go round pming everyone the "evidence" haha duck that.
You're right, sorry if I have been misleading, I meant I would prove that Lala was not the same person as the lawyer, to people who had already seen the pics, but I am not going to go round "exposing" her to people who haven't seen anything lol. It wasn't about investigating people online, more about defending someone from a rumour that someone has gone to great lengths to put together.

I'll leave you guys to it.

Not being funny but that is not what your original message was about. Fine if you don’t have what was implied you did or whatever but you clearly made out you had information or proof or whatever and as some of us are patrons or supporters you must have known people would misinterpret your vague message about receipts and photos.

I personally just want to know if I’ve been conned and who the heck she is.

Someone who was posting on here found her on Facebook, and then said that her real name (and face) matched an experienced family solicitor. Thus, the allegation from them was that she is duping people by operating under a fictional persona. They did not say how they found her real profile...

It turns out she and the solicitor simply share same name. They look similar but are not the same person. The exposer then deleted their account, so you are no longer able to see their posts. In a nutshell someone went digging after she revealed to one of her followers that she has 150k in savings, and booked a holiday, yet claims to be struggling financially. But they got it wrong.

That's it.

What did someone get wrong. Is the messages saying she has 150k deposit fake?

I think theres some tactics going on here.. funny posts are being deleted and people saying they have proof shes not the lawyer but have no receipts. The last few post make zero sense.

There's some damage limitation going on.

I don't think there's damage limitation going on at all, I think there's just been some crossed wires lol.
She's not a lawyer, someone has just sent that "bee" video to me and now I know what she looks like *shrug* that's not really much. I'm not gonna go and show people that though...
But I still think it's all a load of jarg.

I’m still confused? Or am I being slow? Because it still makes zero sense.

Are you all saying basically that all of the original posts are fake and not true?

In a nutshell she doesn’t have 150k and she’s not the lawyer? It’s all a lie and no one knows wtf is going on?

My friend (clasymummyof2) had her account deleted and comments too. Whether “Layla” is a lawyer or not, the facts are that she’s still sitting on £150k, living it up in Spain, pleading poverty, begging for money and all for her regurgitated content. It’s a hard pass from me I’m afraid.

Yes we have seen her pics. I believe her entire persona is fabricated. She is sitting on 150k complaining about being poor, asking for money and then talking about her holiday. She's a fraud.

Whether she's the lawyer or not she is a fraudster and I am glad people are waking up.

There are also people in here doing damage limitation.
