but even 1 is a really significant amount! for me it would make an insane difference to my life tbh. And judging by the obsessive nature of some of her fans I don't think it will only be one

Yeah, I mean I get equipment is expensive and such, but she has a LOT of patrons. And she chose to live in trendy areas and nice apartments. And now, as you mentioned, she has been living rent free for over a year.

Surely family would send her money directly, if only to avoid the various fees levied along the way, via Patreon, Paypal, exchange rates etc.
If I were her I wouldn't bother cracking poor, it can only ever backfire, unless you intend to permanently plead and play deserving. Why not be upfront and state that that the channel is your work and you like to be paid for supplying fans with something they enjoy. Rolling Stones fans have not tired of laying out their hard-earned to see multi-millionaires Mick and mates strut and shimmy!

Yes, you have a good point there @VeeJayBee. I can't imagine strangers handing over amounts like that, unless they are ludicrously wealthy. I suppose such people exist though.

Do you think she gets comped for filming in every hotel? I know which one she "booked last minute" in Florence in that video with the guy on the phone, posted earlier. (Hotel Bellosguardo). I looked and it's about 400€ a night for a standard room, now. I can't imagine which room she was able to book in high season, pre-covid. The more I think about it, the more I think that video was fake and well planned. She happened to find a room in one of the more picturesque hotels in Florence? An IG dream hotel, really. Lol
Yes, I do!! I can't quite understand that video, do you think she was hoping for a relationship with that guy? It sounds as though they sat up chatting till the wee small hours in a Campo in Florence and then went their separate ways, reconvening for breakfast. He didn't jump her bones or anything. They were just bonding through conversation. It sounds as though he wasn't her type at the end of the day.

Great to have you a member here @Jerry! Many of us who live in Italy find it particularly grating to watch Kylie as she misrepresents just about everything about our country. And then has the gall to beg people to pay her to do more of it!
Meanwhile she is living the most luxurious and privileged life, well away from the harsh personal realities and economic destruction of the pandemic, that most Italians couldn’t even dream of....

She's a bit mental. Not only do I get a sense she's a bit of a covid-denier , but EVERY time someone dares to challenge her she runs crying to her subs? Poor baby, nearly 40 and can't deal with normal real world situations.

Also, if she really read the news and were capable of understanding the virologists she would have "known the risks." This is something I have felt about her for a while. She doesn't actually read or watch the news and lives in her superficial bubble.
Surely nobody expected a complete video about covid, but a mention of it would probably have sufficed. Not just being vague saying "because of covid i'm moving out of the city" like the pampered princess she is.

She mentions in her patreon account that she is constantly worried about rent, but then buys a last minute ticket to Florence and a night in a luxury villa ? Ok.. Also I understand that she needs equipment but surely once you’ve bought it, it should last a good few years ? I don’t know anything about making videos so correct me if I’m wrong here
