I feel like everyone and their mother is moving to Korea, and honestly… I never got the appeal. most things are overhyped just because it’s Korean, like that stupid ice in a cup and drink package trend that’s being dubbed as the “next coming as Christ”.

anyway does anyone have any interesting gossip on people based in Korea?

I’m sorry, what’s so impressive about pouring a drink into a cup of ice?

apparently Nadine Lee from that singles show is known to be fame hungry, and always chased fame. Honestly, her personality is really boring and her looks are pretty overrated. Her graduating from Harvard is pretty impressive though

Tina Choi is over privileged and her and her passport bro boyfriend, made a restaurant, she refused to do any actual work, and left him in charge, and the restaurant flopped. She made a post about her “rich friends”, when she is literally from money herself.

Jia from the singles show, is beautiful. Her being cancelled for having fake designer is stupid lol. But I guess she’s also a bit stupid for flaunting things she doesn’t have. I still loved her and her confidence tbh

Not sure if this post will be accepted here but I can't see anyone else talking about it! A new show on Netflix called "The Influencer". Currently, there are only 4 episodes out, and can't find any more information on when the next episodes will be released. I found it quite funny and entertaining but also weird at times, especially in episode 3!

I don't know many of the influencers on there; the main Korean YouTubers I watch are Deemd, Ondo, Plan D and Eyol.. but they aren't classed as influencers I suppose. Still, I am so interested in knowing more about them! I find it fascinating that they always go out for food and shopping. From my understanding, I saw that it is relatively cheap to eat out in South Korea, but I find that they all are quite private with their lives. I don't blame them the internet can be harsh!

Also agree that it seems that everyone is moving to Korea, seeing such a rise in Korean travel content on TikTok, with everyone travelling there mainly for the convenience stores!

The Korean stores seem cool, but I think it’s now tired out the amount in
Foreigners moving to Korea to film themselves eating the same variations of food
