Knotted hair!

What is her hair type?

I personally use a hair mask (XHC argan oil) and de-tangle with a wide tooth comb but I have curly coarse hair.

I coat my hair in oil, leave it about sn hour then go in the shower, soak it and apply loads of conditioner before combing from the bottom and moving up with a wide tooth comb. I have really knotty hair that is thick and coarse so have to do this every so often

My daughter has a bit of matted/knotted hair in the front. How can I detangle it, any advice? Thanks .
