New trailer has landed, for the 4th and final season. It starts on February 27th on BBC America and AMCplus. I hope that means it starts in the UK that day too?




Anyone else looking forward to it? Any predictions?

Oooh! I’m planning on reading them after this series is finished! Are they quite different to the show?

I felt like season 3 didn’t have enough Eve in it. She’s only the title character! Hopefully she’ll feature more this time around.

They’re quite different in that they don’t have the humour (obvs lacking the Phoebe Waller-Bridge touch) and they’re quite procedural (I seem to remember) but there’s some plot points taken from the books that are used. Not many, I don’t think. Still a good read, though. Quite pulpy

The first series was definitely the best, the second was ok and the third just a bit silly, wasn’t it. Bit boring, too. I must have rewatched the first series about three times, but had no desire to rewatch the third. I’m hoping they wrap it all up well.

The thing that makes Killing Eve is the banter between the two main characters, season three did not have this.
Wont be watching 4, I loved 1 and 2. Such a shame

I see no problem with this, Eve is annoying AF

I only really enjoyed the first season but am interested to see how it ends so will give season 4 a chance

I agree with you guys. It lost it's charm as the seasons progressed. I didn't read the books, did it suffer from the GOT problem and go downhill when the written content ran out?

On the plus side, my expectations for season 4 are so low, they would have to fail colossally for me to be disappointed.

Ha, I’ve only read the first two books, of which the second ended so perfectly, all loose ends tied up, etc., and it seemed that was it.
Just looked on amazon to see there’s since been a third book published (he must have thought ‘why not?’) - so may have to take back my earlier statement of the books ending well

The only things that stick in my mind from season 3 are, the bus scene, Russia, the bridge scene, and these outfits.

I can totally understand people not liking Eve, she’s not really a likeable character, but I love her. I really like Sandra Oh though, I’d watch her read a phone book


I have no idea how they can tie things up with it ending. The trailer seems to hint that (spoilers even though it’s just a theory) neither Eve or Villanelle will survive, there’s nods to Romeo & Juliet and to Thelma and Louise, and the theme from Ghost! Hopefully these are red herrings though

Even though it went downhill from one season to the next, it’s still one of my favourite shows. Here’s hoping Carolyn Martens will be more like herself this time around, she stole the show so often in the early days!

I watched episode 1 and 2. I know two isn’t up on iPlayer but you can find it online easily. I did enjoy it but I do feel like it’s the right decision to end it. I am becoming a little tired of villanelle tbh.

Just watched the first ep of series 4, very meh. Such a shame as series 1 was brilliant and then it went downhill. Eve was always a bit annoying, but now she's completely unbelievable and annoying, like some kind of action figure. There was no threat or sense of danger in this ep, which S1 had in spades. I think it would have been wonderful if they'd finished after 1 season and just left it as a brilliant stand alone season.

Third book is terrible, I hope they don't go down that path, it wasn't satisfying and read like bad fanfic.

I enjoyed it. Definitely missing the tension of earlier series, but it’s still fun.

I can’t figure out if the “Jesus Villanelle“ moment was jumping the shark?

I was ready to hate Eve’s new man but his little eyebrow raise was nice

Carolyn still seems lost, I don‘t know if that’s bad writing or where her character‘s at just now.

I loved V’s baptism dress But I hope she leaves the church place soon, it feels so wrong when she’s stuck in pyjamas/suburbia situations!

I know she’s not very popular with everyone, but I’m glad it looks like Eve will feature more in this series than the last one.

yessssss so happy it’s not just me I used to watch this Scandinavian show called The Bridge which he was in, ive had a crush since then! Lol. I wish he was in killing Eve more coz he’s one of my fave characters. Doesn’t get enough screen time
