Exactly. George was mixed, so it’s perfectly plausible that he passed on numerous “white” traits to his child alongside her white mother.
Genetics for eye colour and hair are more complex than “brown eyes and curly hair = dominant”.
Absolutely, I think there is confusion on passing on eye colours and that it works the same way as passing on blood types.
On the subject of eye colours, I found this pretty interesting.
My husband and I have blue eyes but our youngest has brown eyes. That chart is wrong.

My oldest is mixed race and has bright blue eyes and straight hair. Imagine someone telling me her Dad was not hers because of our eyes and hair, its almost laughable in the ignorance.
My best mate’s granddaughter has two brown eyed parents , she is a mixture of Jamaican, Indian and white - guess what, straight hair and blue eyes.

It's like how red hair can skip a generation. People will think a kid with red hair must have a different dad or mum because neither parents have it.
