I loved the first series but can’t get into this one. Faith’s hubby, who she’s married to in real life too, is lovely.

I agree with many of the comments but my main issue is with the Steve Baldini character.
Not his acting which is great, but his casting as an alternative love interest for Faith.
I just could not believe they'd make a good couple.
Not just his shady past, but the lack of chemistry between them and his lack of attraction as a romantic lead
. I can see from reading forums that I am in the minority with this view...and this actor seems very popular in Wales and perhaps Britain.
I just don't get it.
If they do make a series 3 then I hope we get a new love interest for Faith with more romantic appeal.

that was disappointing - reminded me of Broadchurch series 2 where we had lots of flashbacks and Eve Myles gazing into the distance
