Just seen that Kate is on This Morning tomorrow to talk about caring for Derek and her own health scare 
I was about to say. I just flicked around the tv channels, just to catch-up on the news. You know, stuff like the devastating flood in Libya which has killed thousands ... but no news of that on ITV, it's sad-face Garraway flogging her book. Unfuckingreal. Sad face ... it's published today ... At this point ITV morning/daytime is just a shilling-machine. It's utterly, utterly, shameless and totally pointless. The viewing public deserve better. I hope people just wake-up and stop watching. I honestly don't see how whoever runs GMB keep their licence with the broadcasting authority.

She’s just managed to bag a private off screen meeting with the Health Secretary by ambushing him live on GMB. Absolute abuse of her position.

I caught about two minutes of her phone-in today, and it was an excellent cure for the will to live.
Her reaction when they spoke about Carer's Assessments was hysterical. She hasn't got a fuckin' clue about life for unpaid carers (or paid ones for that matter)! She was clearly just there to line her pockets and pad her and Derek's nest out a bit more by hawking her book. (Someone's gotta pay for those 24/7 carers!)
There is no way she's doing hands on care with him when she's still able to hold down several jobs/do appearances AND write two books. As an unpaid family carer, who would love to be a writer, I can tell you the only thing I find time to write is angry letters to so-called professionals, trying to help get my relative/s access what little support/services are out there. You're lucky to get an unbroken nights sleep, nevermind be up at the arse-crack of dawn to get your grifting ass on the tellybox. I cannot fuckin' stand this woman! False as the day is long!
And this "Carer's Leave Bill" is a fuckin' joke. Five days of unpaid leave? Anyone can take unpaid leave! So what? It means you won't lose your job, but you'll have to try and find a way to survive without a day's wage. It's an empty gesture and nothing better. Her demanding to meet with the health secretary is a joke too. She's not going to give an accurate portrayal of anything from way up in her ivory tower.
The tagline of her book is "embracing an uncertain future with resilience and optimism"....Yeah, I'm sure all those people out there doing 35+ hours a week care for less than £2 an hour are really able to be positive about the future. And having a big fat bank balance will do wonders for your resilience too, I'm sure.
Give the air time to real carers who need to be heard, not some old hag using her sick husband as a cash cow.

Just going back to this morning, she was specifically on there to read the news headlines. It would be like Clive Myrie, at the top of the 6pm news tonight starting by telling viewers about his new book. It's quite outrageous. I've no problem with her doing set interviews per se, but when she's supposed to be reading the bleeping news-headlines it seems quite wrong. I hope OFCOM have a look at that. I'm just surprised she hasn't set up a livestream webcam of Derek on the toilet. I used to feel for her and thought she was getting harsh criticism but this is beyond a pisstake now.
Just saw her on TV this morning about Derek. She is beyond awful.
Firstly I find it astounding that the symptoms she had proved to be nothing and I also note she couldn’t resist ( without any shame) telling us plebs how wonderful the doctor and his wife think she is.

Wow that was a great read...Real soap opera stuff. Amazing that she could recall all the grisly details with such vividness I hope she gained strength from hearing how inspiring and brave people think she is..and what an example she sets to the nation.. I should hang my head in shame because I'm a a dull and boring carer who certainly can't aspire to being as socially active and productive as Brave Kate is..Where did I go wrong?

Exactly. It's not like she could ever divorce him either because she would really look like an asshole then. So it's very cunning of her to make their relationship profitable for her, since she's going to have to be in it for life now.
