also I want to say, don't be so hard on yourself, Christmas is a really shitty time of year even if you are surrounded by family. It's overwhelming, it's busy, there's a lot of pressure. Take a deep breath and remember that this will pass

Hi, I suffer badly with my mental health Not long been out of a pysch ward I was surrounded by my family today and I just couldn’t cope TW getting feelings of suicide not going to do
It but when I’m anxious that’s the first thing I think of just wanting to write really and just get it off my chest just feel so low today when really I’m surrounded my family that love me and that I love but just couldn’t cope with it all today just feel like I can’t do anything right piss my family off constantly with me being so over the top anxious arghh just don’t know what I’m feeling at the moment

I agree with above poster it sounds like you're really in it and feeling it right now. Do you have something you like to do to distract you until the fog lifts?

Thank you all for replying my safe space is normally my room I do guided mediation but my thoughts are going crazy just can’t relax. X

Completely agree. Christmas can be very overwhelming and the pressure to seem happy. Many people feel like this and it's completely normal.

Do you have any coping strategies when you feel like this? Could you find a quiet place to have a look at some mindfulness sites? I think Head space is quite a good one.

/this is a bit weird but my go to when I'm too anxious to sit still is either cleaning or putting music on and dancing around. Sad or happy, whatever works

I’m so sorry you’re feeling like this. I’m sure you’re not making anyone feel like that but I understand where you’re coming from, sometimes the thoughts take over no matter what you try to do distract yourself.

Things sometimes work for me are getting some fresh air, a funny podcast, or just any podcast/ talking so there’s background noise. Probably not much help but wanted to reply and say you’re not alone in feeling like this and it will pass x
