It's interesting to me that she full well knows every time she drinks it will lead to gambling, yet carries on drinking anyway! Maybe it's easy to say as someone who has never suffered with addiction, but to me, if you KNOW something is triggering your addiction, surely you avoid the trigger? She carries on drinking knowing what it will lead to. Maybe she's addicted to alcohol too.
