Ruby thompstone is to blame for Joanne. Ruby is a chavvy "social media coach" from Manchester. She runs goal digger coaching you basically pay her to teach you how to be an influencer. She is taking money from the likes of Joanne who imo should NOT have a public platform. 99% of her comments are people mocking her in secret, it's cringe to watch. She is not special needs but does have mental health problems and the likes of that ruby one are egging her on. She is a very vulnerable girl who has been led to believe she is an influencer. She is every brands worst nightmare for example she said she had lip filler when she was drunk? And then said she got them done in Therapie. I'm sure Therapie wouldn't allow a drunk person get lip filler.... INFURIATING

The positive comments are from strange pages - mostly from American or English small bloggers. This ‘Goal Digger Coaching’ must run a network of bloggers who support each other. What I can’t figure out is how her parents or friends haven’t stepped in. I mean there’s no harm in what she’s doing but I would hate to see her get hurt by all this.

I caught her live earlier, girl was tortured with trolls. Hats off to her she ignored them completely. She can certainly handle herself, very determined and assertive. But sadly most of those followers are taking the piss and I don't know whether it is naivety or what but Joanne doesn't see it.

I do feel a bit sorry for her. She’s clearly someone who has paid money to be told how to be an influencer but sadly she will be trolled because everything she’s doing is sloppy and it feels like a parody account. Very badly edited reels, very, very poor makeup application etc.
I think she’s harmless but I don’t like the fact she’s probably vulnerable and being lured into thinking she’ll be appearing on love island this year.

It was a reply to a comment on her stories, someone must have asked her if she had a disability and she said no, it was just her personality and she was "normal" It was use of the word normal that saddened me. To be fair I had assumed she had a hidden disability and winced when she received negativity and I was concerned when she reacted to it, it really upset her.

I agree with you. I can’t remember exactly but she said she has 3 degrees so she doesn’t have additional needs, something along the lines of that. As someone with children with additional needs that hurt, it came across like she thought that anyone with additional needs couldn’t have a degree.

She’s spoken about this and said that she doesn’t have any special needs or a disability - I was the same as you and didn’t want to comment if that was the case but it seems not to be.

I hadn't heard of this lady and checked out her page after I saw her name mentioned. I just felt so uncomfortable reading through the comments, I actually have never felt that before, I feel like there is a mean girls gang that they all seem to be a part of. It's very bizarre. She seems lovely, quirky and confident. Her style wouldn't be to my taste but she's passionate about it for sure. She's trying really hard. I read that she was horrendously bullied in school and it makes me quite angry that people are still taking the piss when she is doing no harm.

This girl came up before on a thread and people (myself included) were shot down because she supposedly had additional needs, now she has stated she hasn’t!! Anyway she said she had 3 degrees but she only has one and has passed any other exams she’s done like insurance exams Her words were she’s never failed an exam in her life

There's a naivety for sure, but she's also very assertive. I think she'll have two weaknesses, foot in mouth and offending people and reacting to criticism.
Someone said she may have done an influencer course, I can't believe such a thing exists

I thought she was just a bit innocent/naive when I first watched and I just accepted it when somebody said she had special needs. I really should trust my own judgement.

I think we can all agree there is a vulnerability, if you've been following her for any length of time you will know how receiving unpleasant comments has taken its toll on her. Now she channels the negativity into being relevant and gaining subs, infact i believe shes fixated on numbers. I wish her well but I'm unsure how long that attitude will last, she's a whole goodun if she manages to not let any of it get to her. Insta and tiktok comments are two different animals, but tiktok are low key trolling her. You get the occasional person jumping in to call others out to say she has a disability which obviously hurts Joanne.

I have followed Joanne for sometime and support her carefree attitude. However her comments on disabilities recently has saddened me.
I just want to see if anyone else has any thoughts on this person, people will probably shout that she has a disability but Joanne refutes that.

I think insurance and banking exams are equivalent to degrees on the NFQ so that must be what she means

Ah ok fair enough, in my ignorance I just thought of college/university degrees!! Good on her anyway I’m sure none of those exams are easy! She’s obviously book smart but def not street smart!
