I know what you mean though, I’m sick of instagrammers becoming adverts and losing touch with their original meaning. I have to admit I like Jane, I love her recipes and she seems so nice, I hope she doesn’t become bogged down with labels and adverts or even worse... become a member of team gleam!!^ I agree. Jane has always been really friendly in direct messages (and on her posts) and her recipes are fantastic. I like her. I feel like if I were in her position I would also accept gifts from Zoflora. It's not wildly out there or far removed from baking. 
She’s always been really helpful and replied whenever I’ve sent her a DM and I’ve followed her for about 4 years now. It’s good that she’s getting the recognition but hoping she doesn’t lose her authenticity in the process!
I was wondering when she would get her own board. I really really love her recipes but unfollowed on twitter recently as all she does is complain about ‘abuse’ and negative comments on her blog, people not reading the whole recipe, etc. Also think the tone of her replying to people has totally changed and even in her recipes she’s now so defensive. Think she will struggle with more attention if she doesn’t develop a thicker skin sharpish.
I like her & I think her recipes are lovely, but I did roll my eyes a bit at all that #gifted Zoflora stuff.

I really like her, she’s always replied if I’ve asked a question. As long as she doesn’t go full force on the ads I don’t mind that she did one zoflora push really. Plus her recipes are lush!

She’s become very full of herself lately, not just on Instagram but she is unbearable on Twitter!
Jane is always hinting about people who she thinks are “copying” her but won’t call them out directly, if she isn’t doing that she is moaning on about something else or acting like she is saving the world by making yet another sickly sweet artery blocking cheesecake or cake with just some well known chocolate bar thrown on it for decoration.

I agree and I think it’s funny that she moans about people ‘copying’ her because I’ve noticed that not long after cupcakejemma puts out new recipes Jane will have a similar if not the same recipe put out. The nyc cookies and just this morning the oatmeal raisin.

Yes she definitely copies cupcake jemma's recipes, she is sly how she does it though, she will tweak gemmas recipe slightly so that she can't be accused of copyright, she obviously has not got a brain of her own and uses gemma for inspiration. I have used a few of her recipes but they will never be as good as gemmas, her recipes are amazing.
I've had to adapt a few of her recipes anytime I've made them, it's no big deal I know but I'm not a confident cook and it makes me nervous
Some of her recipes look nice (I do agree that she copies cupcakejemma though) however others just make me laugh with how little effort she puts in. I saw her ‘Billionaire’s tart’ where she crushes some biscuits, puts them in a flan dish, pours pre made caramel and some melted chocolate on top then just pops it into the fridge. She even states she ‘couldn’t be bothered’ in the recipe

She's incredibly smug on Twitter. Why are idiots like her given a platform? We get it, you can make a cheesecake.
I saw she did a video with cupcake jemma recently on youtube. What I want to know is, how are people affording to bake these days? The price of food has gone up so much, especially butter and sugar. It's a really expensive hobby nowadays and all the ingredients in her recipes are so expensive.

I agree on your comments about the baking ingredients. I like to bake in my spare time, nothing fancy, but I'm finding the ingredients SO expensive. Butter is something like £1.99 a block and 1 block doesn't go far at all!
As much as I do quite like Jane's recipes, it isn't cost effective for me to try and make any of them any more.
I do a bit of baking alongside working full time. Always done cheaper cakes for friends and family however now putting a stop to it, they still expect cheap bakes because it isn’t a full time job, despite the hike in prices. Icing sugar used to be £3 for 3KG, now £4.50

I’m on the Facebook page for sharing tips etc and people in the group started making bronuts using her brownie recipe, they were everywhere then suddenly she comes out with a bronut recipe. Then more recently the Nutella puff pastry Christmas tree. It’s all over TikTok I saved one ages ago then 6 days ago she’s posting it as a recipe of hers

I've just found this thread to ask if anyone else has noticed she never actually eats anything she makes? Also the way she holds the ingredients and often the finished product, it looks like she's just using her finger nails, like she doesn't dare to touch anything. She just doesn't give off a warm vibe. Everything seems very cold and clinical, dumped in her mixer
The hair down swishing in the food and nail varnish gets to me too but I think that's because I've worked in hospitality before!
