Anyone else can't stand him?

He's constantly cherry picking things to suit his agenda while moaning about other people doing it. So smug and just likes to hear from people that stroke his ego or agree with him. The moment anyone betters him they're faded out and he starts a monologue of putting words into their mouth that they never said.

I have thought this so many times!
it’s literally cringe worthy listening to him because the moment someone has a decent argument that might potentially make him look bad, he shoots them down and ends the call as if his opinion is the ONLY opinion.
It makes me squirm with embarrassment for him.

ahhh good old parklife. Gunning for the SODs was entertaining but HOURS of rabbiting on and on and on... and ON on stories was too much. I have insta on a 30 min daily limit, don’t have time for that!

Does anyone listen to Nick Abbot on LBC? If so... “BORING”

(and if you don’t, start! I listen in bed from 10pm on Friday and Saturday.)

I also listen to Nick A! Absurdly I grew up listening to LBC to fall asleep (???) so my first favs were Clive Bull & Ian Lee was hilarious to child me on the weekends. Now it’s very right wing (may have always been but didn’t pick up that at ten years old) I can’t fall asleep to it it angers me too much!

Anyway back on topic - he’s 360 down after that last post. I do wonder what possesses him to post, he only loses low 100s when he doesn’t post and causes mass exodus when he does? Is NO ONE gifting them anything for him to feature? Not even an outfit for the twins?!

I can’t understand how he gets away with calling people ‘muppets’ or ‘idiots. It’s just so disgusting, he’s so rude to people that don’t agree, and doesn’t really stay quiet to let them be heard. I also turn LBC off when he’s on. I don’t agree with most of what sheilagh says but at least she isn’t rude to people. I’d never call in to those two.

I agree, Nigel at least allows them to speak. I wish LBC would replace JOB

This year he decided to release it for 1.99 kindle ebook despite saying he would release it for the lowest price Amazon allow. Also said it was the only way he could publish it. I doubt global would have said no to putting it out on their site. Seems like Nicky A wanted the money for himself.

When is the nick and carol podcast going to actually come out?

Omg 100% here for an LBC thread, what a great idea, can we do past and present too please?

So many things to say but firstly I can’t believe anyone bought those tea towels I love how hateful Steve Allen is but always forget to listen. We’ve also found Nick A difficult to listen to post brexit - also sorry but does anyone else want to punch themselves when they hear James O’Brien’s pained earnest voice? Cannot stand him. Quite like Majid but he’s incredibly intense, sometimes you just wanna do the house work and not hear about Assad’s regime melting men in baths of acid uno?

I have very different political views to Iain Dale, but I would much rather listen to him than JOB as at least he lets people talk.

I think JOB is probably victim of his own success - all the viral clips of arguments he has had with Brexiteers have gone to his head and made him think he is right about everything. His lack of self awareness of criticising people for certain types of behaviour, and then displaying the very same traits everyday is breathtaking.

Like majid a lot. Loved his analogy pre election how racism + nationalism + socialism = fascism. He never deviated from “anti-semitism was allowed to flourish in the Labour Party under Corbyn” and a Corbyn govt propped up the SNP would allow fascism in.

Who’s that melt on overnight on weekends - Matt someone? He is so woke it hurts. Heard briefly his wife chucked him? Cannot stand his show. I only really listen at night due to insomnia and oh lord he doesn’t give it a rest. Weeknight Scottish overnight chap slightly les insufferable, but If i wake up and Steve is slagging off the GC and readings texts from “jamie” and his favourite cabbie, I’ve already won the day!

Any favourite regular callers? WHO is that shouty Scot in Westminster?! Also who actually lives in Westminster?!!

I really like Majid, such a good signing and lbc was under fire for ages for not having a diverse roster and glad they didn't hire someone tit just to tick a box. That said it is sometimes a bit heavy, but thankfully that foosball show is gone zzzz. He's so often a voice of logic and reason.

What happened with Christo and the guy he met on grinder that he bought back to his flat? I kinda liked his show, but everytime he went on about lemons as a reason to why he bought so many buy to let properties I wanted slap him. Always complaining about how much tax he had to pay to drive an old BMW.

I quite like Sophie from laytonstone, the teaching assistant.

That caller in the evenings that shouts and gets louder and louder each word I haven't heard in quote a while,.

Politically I don't agree with nick Ferrari but I love when he goes off on a tangent with a crazy caller. They mention their cat is called Tiddles and he then just ignores them while keeping asking questions about Tiddles under his breath.

My sister loves JOB but totally agree with the earlier post. He's turned into a parody and I'm not sure it's really him anymore or he even believes 90% of what he says, always looking to get those viral clips. Although the Nigel farrage clip about Bulgarian neighbours where he announces the name of the elite guy that bursts thought the door to shut up nige is good.

I still listen to nick abbot most Friday and Saturday while getting into bed, but was glad once the holidays were over and Tom came back. He needs to stop playing that Nigel kicked in the head caller, it's not funny. The Nicky abbot show is the biggest loss to the post brexit country so far.

Can't take to Sheila Fogarty, I haven't really liked any of the female daytime presenters for the last 10 years. Beverly turner was the best of a bad bunch imo.

Matt stadlen or something like that, I grone when I can't sleep and he's on. Just waiting for Steve to come on and call Jordan yuck. I remember him talking about just getting married, the wife has ditched him already?! I don't blame her

Also who actually lives in Westminster?!!

I used to live in Westminster actually, the borough is quite big so all the way in fitzrovia counted and we got the free Westminster card that got free entry to Westminster cathedral

His wife is one of the sister duo called Crumbs. They have/had a website/you tube channel. They seem to have gone quiet.

I’ve only been listening for a year or so and usually only catch an hour at a time morning to 6ish, in between meetings, so I’m not quite as informed as you ladies. There are a few who’s political agendas I disagree with, however I happily listen and a few times have even done research off the back of what they say, however, JOB is just a no. I think he is just in it for the self glory. I also can’t bare that weird voice he does, like a smug weird, half laugh. Sheila is becoming a bit tiresome too. Ian and Nick are decent chaps and I appreciate how they actually allow the caller to speak without interruption.

Job actually had the audacity, when confronted by a called who stated ‘no one could ever get a word in’, to state, ‘I’m doing it to help you, because I know you’ll be wrong and I’m such a snowflake that I care enough to not let you look stupid mate’ think that was Monday...
