Well folks, it took nearly 4 years, but our girl finally got enough posts for a new thread. Congrats @DukeOfKent for the very fitting thread title!

Old Thread : https://tattle.life/threads/jackie-trying-to-seem-super-young.24765/
Thank you! I'm honored to have named Jackie's second thread!

I will provide a recap for everyone's reference.

Jackie is a 48-year-old woman (as of March 2, 2025) based in Central Florida who operates the Super Enthused YouTube channel. The title of her channel accurately describes her attitude toward everything. She mainly covers the Central Florida theme parks but has been known to venture to Gatlinburg / Pigeon Forge, TN (her favorite place to stay there is the Jimmy Buffett Margaritaville resort) and Southern California to visit Disneyland, Universal Studios, and Knott's Berry Farm, among other tourism destinations throughout the US and occasionally England. She approaches all of the subjects that she covers with a childlike sense of wonder, curiosity, and excitement.

She has received criticism for her sense of style, having previously been a guest on the TLC show What Not to Wear prior to embarking on her vlogging career. Her style is often seen as overly-juvenile with Jackie favoring bright colors, graphic t-shirts, pigtails, novelty makeup, Crocs footwear, and other styles often favored by younger people.

Jackie is currently married to Sam, operator of the Expedition Theme Park YouTube channel. This is her third marriage. Sam's video style is different from Jackie's in that he focuses on the history of theme parks and their attractions in a documentary style. He has made plentiful appearances in Jackie's videos in recent years as they often travel together.

Jackie loves Halloween and begins featuring Halloween content (e.g., discussing theme park Halloween events, going shopping for Halloween costumes and decorations, etc.) in early Summer each year.

Most recently, Jackie has been very excited about the opening of Universal's new Epic Universe park and associated resorts, having received invitations to cover them as a member of the media.

To date, Jackie has not been involved in any major controversies, and she is seen by many to be pretty inoffensive. The most significant criticism she has received relates to her previously mentioned sense of style, a contention that her videos can be boring, and the opinion that she explains everything in too much detail.

And that's why, personally, I feel bad criticizing her too much. She seems sweet and likeable. I like her, and I want her to be successful because she's not obnoxious like many other tourism vloggers, but I'll admit that I don't watch most of her videos, instead only checking in sporadically.

I've said it before but I like Jackie as a person. I've run into her a couple of times at the parks and she's been incredibly nice both times. But that doesn't mean her videos aren't super boring and I think it's perfectly fine to point that out.

She does do a good job providing information and her vlogs are good quality. Better than more popular vloggers anyway. I'd rather see her get a free cruise over TTT or PMM.

Jackie's thread has been pretty quiet lately, so I'm going to indulge in a fantasy that I've had for some time and attempt to style her. I know someone already attempted this, so I certainly don't expect any changes -- I'm just doing it for fun.

Step 1: Hair
I don't know what Jackie's natural hair color is. I assume that it's a shade of blonde but not quite the blown out shade that she typically sports. I'd recommend that she return to her roots (so to speak) and quit with the bleaching. She also may chemically straighter her hair considering her Cuban heritage, and while she may look good with curls, I will concede that hair of that texture could be a real pain when combined with the Central Florida humidity, so I'm ok with her keeping it straight.

Step 2: Clothes
Replace the graphic t-shirts and jean shorts with an active dress. This particular one is made from a stretchy quick-drying fabric that would be perfect for a day at a theme park. It even has built-in shorts and pockets for added practicality.

I think she looks particularly good in green, but certain shades of blue would really make her eyes pop.

Step 3: Footwear
This is a tough one because comfortable shoes are vital in a theme park, and what is comfortable is not always fashionable and vice versal, but I think that a pair of solid white shoes (I don't find Converse particularly comfortable, but many people do, so that could be an option -- or go with all-white running shoes).

Step 4: Accessories
Lose the baseball cap and don't even think about tying that hair into pigtails. Go for a headband instead. Solid white, matching the dress, or go nuts and pick a fun pattern. It's a nice subtle way to express yourself without overdoing it.

Replace the neon-framed sunglasses with simple black frames or even a tortoise pattern. Or go in a different direction and select a metal wire frame style.
Swap out the two-strapped backpack with a cross-body sling bag. It should still offer plenty of storage, it may even be more comfortable to carry, and it'll be more fashionable.

Step 5: Makeup
I don't know much about makeup, so all I'll say here is to throw away the bright red lipstick and anything with glitter in it.

I fed the above into a generative AI and this is the result:

I'd flip the bag around so that it's on her back, but otherwise the depiction is pretty accurate to my vision.

What do you all think? Is this good, or did I make her worse?

Cute! I would let her keep her T-shirs, but wear athletic "skorts". Those jean shorts are not flattering on her and have to be uncomfortable in the summer heat.

I'm in 2 minds with her. She seems nice enough and more informative than Dev& she at least seems happy to be there unlike dev. But her screaming & screeching at everything is OTT& her reaction at character meet and greets are childish like a 8 year old not 48& when she reacts she does sound like Minnie mouse having swallowed all the helium out of a helium balloon tank from Card Factory (other retailers available) I think Sam would be thrilled if she lost her voice, some peace& quiet.

Jackie and Sam look like they've lost a good amount of weight and are still making healthier choices at the parks. Nice to see vloggers making better decisions!

While I understand the need for privacy, is it really that forthcoming to say "oh my relative is sick". It just comes off as a ploy for views without some sort of context.
I understand your viewpoint. For me, a ploy for views would be putting out a vlog with a sad/worried face thumbnail with a "Why I haven't been posting" title.

I know we give our Jackie a bit of stick now and again.

But hats off to her for her last vlog. It might not have bene the most exciting. But think it was important for her to show some more emotion and get her family health troubles of her chest.
I appreciate that she talked about it without going into specifics. She also didn't turn it into a "woe is me" moment for sympathy. It was unusual for her not to release vlogs per her normal schedule and she addressed it nicely.

She looks extra nuts in her Wicked video with her eyes full of crazy and wearing my Aunt Sally's lipstick.

I've said this before, but even though I am not known for my fashion sense, I want to give her a makeover SO BAD! I really love her enthusiastic attitude (she's VERY excited about Wicked), and I think she'd be so much more likeable if she didn't dress and style herself to look like a lunatic.

she also needs to stop aimlessly walking round and talking about nothing. Both her last magic kingdom and skyliner videos are completely pointless.

I like Jackie but she needs to plan videos and stop showing the same thing over and over

Jackie and Sam are at Anakeesta in Gatlinburg, and I am genuinely excited because I would love to visit that part of the country, especially this time of year.

Word of warning: If you play the "Jackie says the word cute" drinking game, you'll end up drunker than her after she completed her beer punch card.
