Don't do this. Single use plastics can't be cleaned properly and just ask any cyclist what happens if they don't clean out their bidons (clue: the word "hosepipe" can be used to describe both ends of your digestive tract). Depending on the plastic they can also start degrading and leaching BPA and other chemicals into your food and liquids.

She must have a stomach of absolute steel between this, the general state of that kitchen and her cooking skills. No wonder she said that painting is in her toilet, must be where she/guest’s guests spend most of their time round the bungalow.
I do believe that some people have a brain chemistry related proclivity towards addiction that others don't, and that addicts can replace one addiction with another. But I think shopping is probably more likely to be jack's main addiction than alcohol/opioids, and I think she thinks it's more shameful (given her career) so she's unwilling to admit it. Conjecture but it rings true to me.
And I blame her editors as well. Basic fact checking - surely that's their job? This wasn't self published.
We were wondering earlier what guset does all day: there is no way she eats any of the garbage she foists on the povs.

I meant to add, sorry, this whole "I'd go online absolutely shitfaced and buy things" - that's what I mean about a shopping addiction. She's trying to frame it as something that happened as a side result of drinking, but to me it reads like she needed to do the shopping, and if she had to be drunk to excuse it then so be it. If you see what I mean. I guess both could be addictions, but if one led to another then my interpretation is the shopping came first.
I fully understand how her career meant she could never disclose that in those terms but I think having to hide it might have been at the root of a lot of the problems she's created for herself by having to invent elaborate lies etc. Although of course the realisation that fools and their money are soon parted and a sob story works wonders etc must have been a factor. She got famous for two things - being "poor" and "thrifty" "recipes". I guess neither of them were what she wanted to be famous for, but she felt like since they were what worked she had to cling to them at all costs.
