Simon Pal came under criticism for possibly less than ethical journalism (conducting an interview with a fragile, vulnerable smol recovering alcoholic in a pub), but Jack is white knighting him, saying it was her idea and he had two dic

Ethical journalism chaos has been very fun! In response Jack clapped back that she’s a real life big girl with agency, who can make her own decisions and not the poor smol vulnerable pixie who makes poor decisions, as per the article in question.

Jack tried to fashion a friendship with the Graun Journo by tweeting at him a few times, to which, painfully, there is no response so far. Meanwhile, the fighty journos have publicly made friends on twitter and as a result of the Jack interview are now planning a lecture together for journalism students. The identity of burger boy might finally have been revealed as Jacks ex sponsor, who took her to AA meetings via the pub, where they gently fell in love over microwaved burgers before he quickly moved house/counties/continents….but not because of Jack, ok.

Jack outed herself as Whetherspoons biggest patron. And it’s unclear whether she does or doesn’t make a habit of visiting pubs because unusually her tweets contradict each other.

On the tramadol prescription, I think her timeline for the start might actually be one of the few ones that makes basic sense.

To slightly repeat my post from the end of last thread, it was a lot easier to get it 6 years ago so to me that bit is totally plausible and if she was on it for 18 months then allowing for rounding that would coincide right with when they started taking/weaning people off it and cracking down on prescribing it.

I had a relative who was terminally ill and a doctor tried to take them off it as they were restricting it due to risk of addiction, which is not that great a concern when you were given 12 months to live a few months earlier. They kept their script after sense prevailed but I remember one of the doctors saying lots of people were going to switch to obtaining it illegally.

It’s just the bit after that and how she went from presumably a sensible dose to 40 per day that makes no sense.

Conning from the previous thread, the photo of her wearing uniform was a pride charity thing and you could pay to get dressed up in the uniform, if you look at the other people in the photo they're is no way that they were fire fighters.

I hope old Lurchio has seen the guardian bit about Jack admitting she spunked a fortune on herself (notice how she says sideboards thinking it’ll come across as kooky but fails to mention hammocks, water rowers, clothes, bags, make up, all the mountains of luxuries detailed here) and reflected on his idiotic ‘she gives it all to the poor’.
Pretty sure Jack was tagged in that convo-if not she’ll have seen it here or searching her name like the self obsessed creep she is. I would curl up with shame at what a bleep I am allowing that to go when she knows she’s greedily indulged herself all while ranting about people like toothpaste man.
How the squigs don’t see just how vile that is baffles me. If it was anyone they haven’t slavishly adopted as a fellow ‘trans/lesbian/lefty/vegan/single mom/alcoholic/adhd/autistic/disabled etc’ they’d be as disgusted as we are. They’d probably also be all ‘don’t give money to addicts’.
