Sorry but back at it again:
This isn’t saying you’re wrong btw but just feel there’s SO much misinformation out there about what addiction is and what it looks like, and who it happens to, and Jackie plays up to these tropes (as she has no lived experience) and perpetuates them and is so dangerous because she’s keeping people out of accessing help. This is a problem with medical professionals and the NHS and is why I’d never make it known to them as they lack the nuance to make the appropriate care decisions imo/e.
The only pre requisite for AA is a desire to stop drinking, any xA is a desire to stop x-ing. There’s a bit of nuance to it in that in smaller towns or more remote areas you may not have your xA so you’ll attend AA, if it’s an open group, also a lot of people whose substance abuse problems were problematic but they just prefer AA or they got clean at a time where there weren’t as many NA/CA meetings. There’s nuance to it. Also not everyone drinks the same - some are binges some steady some tons of volume some medium. It’s why I cringe when I hear alcoholics don’t like xyz drink
I don’t want to go me-raily but inevitably have to share some experience for context? I was a thriving
23 year old with a gr8 job that started my career, a ton of friends, went out every night, loved drugs with my pals and generally taking the piss a little with work and all family commitments. Very normal for that age. I had friends that drank more, drugged more, participated in more dangerous behaviours (a fact that I thought of every night before bed to keep that sweet denial alive). But those friends didn’t have the serious MH problems I had & were only worsening. Masses of shame, shit self esteem, weird growing paranoia that all originated over britta filters being spiked with sedatives, a genuine hatred of men, like the list was truly endless. No one would ever have said I needed help and lots of ppl thought going teetotal was mad and weird or even attention seeking despite the fact I keep it majorly on the DL. But this is the thing there’s a spectrum before you become a Gazza or a Westbrook right? If we nip it in the bud early enough surely we only will save ourselves years and years of heartbreak? At 23 you can’t lose a house or have the missus leave with the kids and the big carTM but you CAN be too scared to open your windows and leave your bedroom and text anyone back so spend all weekend inhaling the bleach fumes you use to kill the black mold you’ve 100% caused yourself. Like these horror stories don’t develop overnight but you can see your life going down that path and choose to turn it around without needing to feel invalidated that you weren’t / aren’t alchy or druggy enough, cos you still could still mask to participate in mainstream society?
On topic - and this is where Jack spreads such a dangerous message with her ridiculous units story. Her story is SO atypical for women, particularly young women, I’ve honestly never heard one and I’ve heard some truly terrible shit. I’ve only heard a handful of blokes share like she did in her paid for guardian piece, tbh. It’s just not reflective of life for a lot of women, we’ve been socialised in such a way that we don’t tend to behave in the way she describes (abusing paid staff, hissing at romantic partners, etc).

No mention of the residual Teemill money promised to charities other than the Trussell Trust. This really needs to be addressed by Jack. Does she really think people have forgotten these other charities?

First of all, hello again and well done for continuing to point out that Jack’s lies and BS are indeed lies and BS. She is so prolific that it’s an endless task, but I do think it’s important for there to be records of the holes in her fairy stories.
Second of all, I never grunked that far back when I came across this place a few weeks ago. But I’ve since seen posters referring to thread 31, so I went back and read it, and holy fucking fuck I can’t believe she actually popped over for a visit and then *made herself look like even more of a dickhead than she already did*. Fucking AMAZING. How can one person be so utterly self-obsessed (especially when they really ain’t all that!)?! Just, wow, very very wow indeed. I know I said in my previous posts that I thought she should take time out of public life and get some serious therapy, but I think it even more having read her pathetic posts.
Thread 31 also made me have way less sympathy for her too. Based on how unpopular she is in her home town, I’d assumed she’s just a lonely and terminally online person desperate for attention and having nobody looking out for her mental health - but it turned out that posters here were encouraging her, directly, to get help even two years ago! So she was getting support and encouragement, and yet still she’s chosen to be shit and lie and to not listen and learn, I can see how the lack of self improvement and reflection is an active choice now. Sad at her age, and somehow even a bit sadder because she’s a parent and IMO that means she has an active *responsibility* to improve and reflect and be better. Ho hum. I suppose we just have to wait for it to play out.
Thirdly, for those commenting on SB missing out on holidays and time with his mum, I did note earlier that Jack herself has said she hasn’t received any benefits payments since 2014. IF SB had been living with her, she would have been eligible for a decent amount of UC for housing costs on top of ChB, so if she’s telling truth about not receiving any benefits for all these years, then the only logical conclusion can be that she’s been the non-resident parent so didn’t qualify for the UC and SB’s dad has been the resident parent. We know SB lives with dad now, but if - IF - she really truly hasn’t had any benefits since 2014 then dad has been the resident parent for the duration. (Or she’s lying about not receiving any benefits, not an impossible scenario.) It’s either that or since 2014 she’s had an income high enough to make her ineligible for any UC top-up - which would mean over the median UK salary if not more, I think.
And fourthly I checked her postcode on the Indices of Multiple Deprivation database, and she literally lives in one of the very, very LEAST deprived areas of the entire sodding country (10 in the IMD range, where 1 is most deprived and 10 is least deprived.) By contrast, my parents’ postcode is less than 2miles/10mins drive away and it’s in one of the very most deprived areas of the entire country, a 1 on that scale. So with that knowledge plus the holidays, I sincerely believe Jack is an increasingly unconvincing poverty cosplayer, and that Lee Anderson would wipe the floor with her if she ever managed to get a libel case heard. But she won’t pursue it, because her whole accusation of libel hinges on the reality of her finances and donors - profiting from people poorer than her - and she won’t want anyone properly looking at her income streams.

Owl champagne is short for “hooting and fizzing” it’s short if you write it in emoji. Jack described laughing as “hooting and fizzing around the room” once, when she must have been feeling very Enid Blyton.

Jack tweeted J1g which could be interpreted as J wants one gram of Er, something. Like if you were texting someone who sold things by the gram. Anyway, following that tweet she panicked and tweeted a load of nonsense letters and numbers. In the middle of these very random digits was the name “Zoe eccentricity” which she thought was fun, and changed her name on twitter to Zoe Eccentricity for about an hour. Then she reckoned the nonsense tweets had been caused by her Mediterranean arse, because her phone was in the back pocket and she had NO IDEA about the tweets. Yeah? No. idea.

Oh is that what the VBI is? Because that’s literally what trolley.co.uk does. It’s a website where you can enter a product, see the prices at all the major supermarkets and see a graph that shows whether the price has gone up or down.
