I think that's 3 times she's told us today that she's getting fitted wardrobes in September and about 600 times that she needs to seal the blinds. Bore off you bloody boring twit.

She just seems to be rushing into doing everything and making a half arsed job of it? Most people I know work through their houses a room/issue at a time due to budget. She’s going to have done everything within 6 months and then she’ll be bored. If this is her forever home, she should really take some more time to consider ‘permanent’ fixtures like garden design, wardrobes, shutters etc. instead of just buying the first thing she sees and have a complete mis-match of low quality shite

On the patio? I think it looks lovely. I don’t think you can lay that kind of Indian stone without getting straight lines in areas? We had a grey slate patio, similar pattern and we have straight lines in areas that can’t be avoided.
We have it in our open plan kitchen and I don't have a straight line. You can have small areas that are straight but from her video there was more than couple in a row that were straight. It may just depends on the skill or the person who laid it or the shapes of the slabs.

I am cackling at Little Miss Asos cheaping out on DIY shutter blinds that don't even open properly in one room.

We rushed into everything in our new build, 2 years later the floor we put down was pulled up and replaced, front room decorated twice (in the space of 6 months 🙈) , 2 new dining tables and 2 garden sets! We’re just about to change our worktop and rip the kitchen tiles down that we put up less than 2 years ago! I think it’s really hard when you’re given an empty shell to find out how you want it to look and I wish we’d waited longer before doing anything.

If you look at her garden highlight there are loads of straight lines. Looks like they had a contractor's pack, so all the varying sizes were there. They should have paid a professional, as it's a really poorly done job. The lines should not be as present as they are.

She seems so desperate to get everything done. In an idea world, it would be perfect to walk into a house that had absolutely nothing to do but she’s only going to regret not waiting or paying that bit extra. I’m right in thinking new builds move that’s why it’s advised not to decorate for a year? Will that nor have an affect on her blinds and fitted wardrobes?

She'll regret doing everything so quickly, you need to settle into a new house and get used to the space, how it functions, and its quirks/issues in my opinion. Also, doing everything on the cheap is a bad idea, if you don't have the money for a quality product/job/finish, then save it, and wait. Issue with her is she wants everything yesterday, and she'd rather prioritise spending money on her 27th ASOS haul of the month, over the house.

My mother in law had shutters fitted properly by a specialist company earlier this year. She’s only had the front of the house done for now because they’re expensive. But because they’ve been done properly they really do look beautiful.
Why didn’t Danielle just do a good job of them and maybe just get a couple at a time if money is the issue. So silly to rush what could be a lovely feature on a house

I don’t think money is the issue to be honest... I think it’s time. That hideous garden furniture was a rip off, but she’d rather have something tit/ugly than nothing. I think it’s the same with the shutters. A reliable tradesperson probably had a lead time, so instead she bought a load of crap off the internet because it had to be done *NOW*. She’ll redo everything in 6-12 months but she’s just itching to get everything finished regardless of what it looks like

She’s so bleeping weird!

Why do we need a boomerang of compost and her in a hair mask sporting the wonkiest brows?
can confirm as a brow pro of almost 15 years, her brows are horrific! The Microblading evened them out for a while… till it faded and now they’re back. It’s all I see when she posts stories/posts.I can’t unsee!

Has she not considered how she’ll clean that window if she can’t move the blinds? Or the dust that will collect there 🤦🏼‍♀️ I love shutters but I don’t think they generally suit a new build, much better in an older house with more character
